Twisty ride, but some of the best views in the Cote d'Azur. Stunning views of Monaco all the way to Italy.

Tiny and beautiful village in the « arrière-pays », the back country. A few shops with local products, cheese, jam, soap and quite a few nice and friendly restaurants. Try la taverne provençale, great family cuisine and a terrific view on the sea and the mountains.

I love to visit monuments and ruins when on vacation- so I convinced the family to stop in to see the Trophiee d'Auguste. First of all, Turbie is a wonderful village perched atop a mountain overlooking Monaco and the Mediterranean, secondly, the monument is very interesting (you can climb to the top) and third, there is an excellent museum that traces the history of the monument as well as the history of the reconstruction that was done. All in all, this was an excellent side trip during a great day on the Cote d'Azur.

Love love loved it here, we were in the area and thought we’d stop in, so pleased we did, the most stunning village with a great vibe, beautiful cobbled streets and a lovely feel. A great pottery shop and wood craft shop too, don’t miss it!

Sentier Planetaire

It invites hiking on the tracks of planets, astronomy and mythology. A commented audio guide available at the Tourist Office or the «Planetary Trail» mobile app, gives all information to discover the solar system reproduced on a scale of 1/1.000.000 on Valberg’s domain. (1m = 1 million kilometers in space). An atypical and unique walk which reveals not only Valberg’s natural heritage, but also grandiose planet-like monolithic land arts, allowing to make educational, contemplative or relaxation stops on the way. First part of the trail, 1h30 round trip: through the undergrowth leading to Jupiter and the Senateur lake, a fun and family section for all ages. Total length of the walk: 4 hours with a more sporty finish to reach Neptune, the highest point of the itinerary. Some spectacular pathways here and then complete this exceptional walk between the sky and the earth.
