Winter awesome time to go! WAY less crowded. Very cool small museum. We’re told in the museum to ask if Conrad could give us a tour when we went to the tasting room. He was not in the room and the head of security, Steve, said he’d give us one! And boy did he. He was wonderful! Such a family feeling of a huge grounds, 500 acres, caves, concert venue, heard great stories and antidotes. Highlight!

I’ve been to this winery a half dozen times and have always enjoyed it. The tasting is $10 but includes an average of 8 wines and is waived if you buy a bottle. The young man who poured our tastings was very nice and knew a lot about the winery. He was super friendly. I would definitely go back again as their wines were tasty and reasonably priced.

White Pines Lake

We’ve been to Arnold many times and never knew about this hidden gem. We had a lovely time cooling off in this lake. Bring swim shoes we did find glass buried in the mud as we stepped in the water. A floating tube, or other floating device is fun to use here. Lots of shade, parking, and picnic tables.
