Vorontsov Palace and Park complex

Reviewed By aleksandrovahele2018

It's one of the most popupar palaces in Crimea. It's a combination of two styles: English Renaissance revival and eastern mosque-like facade from the southern entrance. The idea of the architect was to build the palace in a very natural style so it will look more beautiful with a combination of nature around it.

Ai-Petri

Reviewed By C4600RIkevinm - Denver, United States

I figured there should be a more recent review than 2014 since much has changed under Russia. The bazaar is still there, but not as “thrown together” as it used to be. They have more of a warehouse feel to the shops, and the restaurants are large, all indoors, and regulated by Russian sanitary laws. All quite clean. It is crowded riding the cable car to the top in summer, and the drive can be “exciting” with the narrow, curvy roads. They have a bunch of things to do: zip lines, rope bridge, horseback riding, fresh , and a whole lot more. Well worth the visit, for the views if nothing else.

Livadia Palace and Park Museum-Reserve

Reviewed By O1783JOmaryj

Livadia Palace is an important historical place. I think every person who is interested in history should visit it! A guide will help you learn more about the history of this wonderful attraction. The tour is not expensive, photographing is allowed. There is also a separate mini-fair of products related to this place. Livadia Palace was built for the Russian royal family of the Romanovs. During the war years there was a hospital. But one of the most important events is the holding of the Yalta (Crimean) conference in February 1945 to address important issues about the Second World War. The forest trail next to the palace is amazing. Everything is very clean and beautiful. Incredible historical atmosphere and beautiful architecture, because everything was preserved in exactly the same form as before. I definitely advise everyone who will be in Crimea to visit the Livadia Palace!
