The design of the museum, the collection of cars, model cars and memorabilia is simply amazing and definitely a must see. It is hard to grasp how much love, effort and dedication it must have taken to build up this world class collection.

I love wine tasting, and when I found the opportunity to do it in Bodrum I hopped on it! A small family winery which operates from the basement. I took the Dolmus bus there from city center very easy and only 3lira or 40 cents. I emailed the host to see if I was the only one who booked and I was which I was OK with it. When I arrived she had invited her friends and we had such a great time, meetings locals, having good wine and conversation. She said I was the first guest since March. We had such a delicious mezze cooked by her mom. A true local experience to end my trip in Turkey! And her friends were so kind enough to drop me off in the city center as well. And best believe I brought a bottle of wine home! The price is a bit steep compared to the Turkish Lira but in US Dollars was worth it!

Karnas Vineyards is a beautiful vineyard located 25 minutes drive from Bodrum and is home to the first vineyard to plant the Zinfandel variety in Turkey. It is a boutique winery where the award winning wines are produced by a family in its own single vineyard using traditional techniques. Guests are welcome to visit the farm, olive orchards, vineyards and attend wine tasting and food&wine events.
This gorgeous little charming vineyard must be one of Bodrums best kept secrets! My daughter had arranged & booked this as a special birthday surprise for me during our week long holiday in Bodrum Turkey. We were picked up promptly from our hotel, Our driver was very polite and knowledgeable, giving us the history of the villages we past through. Upon arrival we were met personally by the wonderful chef and host who explained and showed us the machinery/process of the wine and about how the owner in her retirement came to making the delectable wines. We were given our first glass of tasty rose wine and were shown to our seats in the dining room where the open fire was lit and the views/sunset from the terrace were amazing. The food was absolutely fantastic paired with awesome wines, especially loved the goats cheese and the homemade Lemoncello! Here i will admit to not being a great lover of red wine in the past however the Karnas Red Zindafel Wine completely converted me. Overall this is a truly enchanting memorable experience and i highly recommend everyone to visit Karnas Vineyard at least once!

This museum was more exciting and engaging than the actual ruins on the site of Troy. An excellent, creative and informative presentation of the area's history. We easily spent about 2 hours walking around.

This important museum displays the pieces found in and around the ruins of Ephesus. Prior to World War II, discoveries were taken to a museum in Vienna.
A must see with a great cafe (Cadir) Opposite. Easy access for people with disabilities. Lovely statues, great coin collection! After seeing this it's clear humans have not advanced, rather they've gone backwards. Thanks to the plandemic it doesn't go past me how privileged I am to see this without the usual tourist crowds.

There are many shops here, where you can buy souvenirs, handcrafts, gifts, sweets, food and clothes as well. It is worth to have a walk here and try local foods. I advise to visit the place in the evening as well. I loved the atmosphere of this lovely town.

The waterfront is amazing. On the way to Alsancak, make sure to see Konak Pier and the old clocktower. There are so many restaurants, bars, and cafes to choose from in Alsancak. You can walk around for hours around Sair Esref or Kultur neighbourhoods, looking at old books or shopping for anything.
