The museum is located in the center of Izhevsk, the capital of the Udmurt Republic, in the Arsenal building of the Izhevsk Arms Factory (this building is the monument of industrial architecture of the 19th century). Drove through Izhevsk and of course had to visit. Definitely need to visit here as Kalashnikov is an icon of this country. You need a passport and drivers license to shoot.

St Michael’s cathedral is a beautiful and sits proud on its little hilltop. Inside is over the top decorated in gold and has beautiful paintings all over the roof. Overall this is definitely a beautiful place to visit and definitely recommend visiting.
