I have been recommended to contact Rizvi from a friend who travelled with him years ago. Initially we were a bit scared that this would work out, since me and my friends never had a personal driving while travelling. Nevertheless, we highly recommend travel in Sri Lanka with a personal driver since roads are crazy and traffic jam as well. And Rizvi was really great!!! He was an excellent driver, always on time, every day coming up with new ideas on what to do. Without him we would have never visited some hidden Sri Lankan gems. On top of that, he was very friendly. We would just recommend to tell him in advance if you have particular needs (i.e. if you are interested/or not to visit special places. For example one day we got bored to visit temples, and told him we would skip the last one of the day, and so he changed the plan for us). Also, keep in mind that he is available to rent accomodation for you. in advance. If you book accomodation for your own, remember that he also should have a place to stay. Thanks Rizvi for the tour!! Sri Lanka is an amazing country, and the people are just amazing, as Rizvi is :)

We had booked Dilana Cab Service for around 10 days. This company offers modern and comfortable vehicles with professional drivers. Samira was always driving highly carefully and was always keen to give us sightseeing tips. Despite the long rides and the dangerous traffic in Sri Lanka we always felt safe and Samira was always a reliable and pleasant company during our trips.
