Perfect lunch spot two subway stops from the tourist crowds at Duomo Very small place. Need reservations. Definitely local crowd. Food is excellent. Limited menu focusing on the specialty meats and one type of pasta We had mortobello on a thin local flatbread and the local pasta angoletti. Small ravioli. Excellent Also had very good microbrewery beer.

Small restaurant but a real gem. Yummy starter of beccafico, fried breaded fresh anchovies. Delicious homemade pasta, we had pizzocchero and carbonara. We then shared a tiramisu - part of our hunt for the best tiramisu in Milan. This one was it. Reasonable price. Only one slight negative: we were the last ones there and felt a wee bit hurried up towards closing time.

We came across this place during a sightseeing afternoon, and enjoyed a few drinks and complementary antipasti. Great hospitality and good prices, the perfect place to take a break when the weather is fine. Only problem was it was so good that our sightseeing never resumed! Go and enjoy!

Was really excited to visit No 1 restaurant in Milan but was so disappointed. Yes, the service was friendly and helpful, but I ordered a chicken salad and some pieces of the chicken was not cooked!!. My family ordered burgers and they were good but I was not happy with under cooked chicken, which was still pink inside. I showed the waiter at the end of the meal but was not offered a replacement or a free drink on the house as an apology, such a shame as we were so looking forward to this our last meal in Milan. My son ordered a side of chips and they didn't arrive until after he had finished his meal, and we had to chase the waiter twice. Our chicken breast is cooked at low temperature and grilled only at the time of service to prevent it from being overcooked and dry. Chicken breast is white meat and, if cooked in this way, remains pink inside. However, this does not mean that it is not cooked, but that it has kept all its juices and qualities. On your second note, as we mention in our menu, during busy hours, the wait time can be extended. We're still working on improving our serving times for our customers to have the best experience. If you feel like eating a sandwich, I must suggest Tram Lab in Rogoredo, Milan. The âsandwichâ maker is an extremely friendly and funny guy from Venice... the Tramezzino was invented there! Every Tramezzino is phenomenal because of the quality produce used... have a beer and a few of these sandwiches and you will be surprised how amazing they are.... and you must try the Tiramisu Tramezzino for desert. I highly recommend this place and donât be alarmed by its decor.Enjoy the sandwich and the company!

Unassuming entrance. Small place with less than ten tables. The proprietor kindly took the time to explain each of the (handwritten in Italian) menu items. Amazing food and very reasonable prices. Had a meat and cheese plate and Tagliatella pasta dish with ground roast beef and pork which was split into two. Outstanding quality. No cover charge. Would come again for sure

Having arrived early on the sleeper train we wanted a nice breakfast. And we got that with Kate Away. A small cafe but a very warm welcome with delicious pastries. Definitely recommend the ricotta croissant, matcha cappuccino and cannoli. Arrive early if you want to sit in or be prepared to wait. Otherwise get a take out and enjoy!

I've been here with my girlfriend today. I ordered a pantaste "tonnara" while she took a salmon tartar. The food is delicious. Really, never tasted a burger with a similar concept and we have never eaten a better fish burger. The tuna is delicious and the ingredients a real blaze of flavors. The salmon tartare is dainty if accompanied with the proposed sauces. The price is ok for the products offered. We will definitely be back if we are back in Milan.
