I tried this place after my mother in law suggested it. I will say I am glad I did. The tacos are big and reasonably priced. You will find most variety's of tacos and quesadillas and you get free refills on your drinks. Overall I think this place does not get the attention it should, it is beats going to those other overpriced taco chains (taco tote, los canarios, etc)

This is obviously a Juarez traditional restaurants and is mostly known for its takeout. The cuts are local and this means that you can expect an overcooked and thin piece of meat. Except for the price, and this is a stretch, there are no redeeming value. It might have been better 20-30 years ago, but the time has passed by this place. Of course, the same can be said about the beef supply in Juarez, which ranks between poor and abysmal.

Read tripadvisor reviews so decided to try it. Ambiance was nice, salad bar was average at best ( definitely not a Fogo De Chao) type of salad bar. We will try somewhere else tomorrow night. With the exception of one chicken and one beef skewer most meat was very very dry We wanted desert but service was sooooooo slow we took the check as soon as we could. It was a Monday night but still should have been much better

I was hesitant whether to try eating somewhere else but decided to repeat here. I don't regret it. First, very good service. The meat cuts were just as good. Yes, it's pricey but nothing exorbitant, except maybe in some of the "specials" and too elaborated dishes. I liked the lentil soup; the previous time I had beef broth, also very good.

Angus Rojo

Overall we had a very good experience at Angus Rojo. The restaurant is modern, very spacious and the service is exceptional. Attention to details and a desire to achieve and create a very special atmosphere filled with Mexican hospitality. We had dinner in the back of the restaurant that is slightly more formal. The fried octopus was really well cooked and offering a delicious dish you cannot find in El Paso. Their skillet rib eye steak was also very well seared and prepared by our Maître D. He had to take the cooking over as the fist rib eye presented to us was clearly overcooked. Also loved their traditionally made « Queso gratinado con rajas de chile chilaca ». A real delight. Angus Rojo’s wine selection is good with a great selection of Mexican and Argentinian wines. We had a « Concierto from Valle de Guadalupe 2015 ». A great blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Ruby Cabernet that is aged over 18 months in oak barrels. So a real treat and great value. Overall a very good experience and we plan to go back to Juarez to enjoy some great Mexican hospitality and Cuisine!

From the moment they opened the door, I could tell that this was an outstanding restaurant. We were warmly welcome by the hostess, in both English an Spanish. The restaurant follows the Foggo de Chao model, although their salad bar was not as extensive. The salad bar offered several salsas and 3 or 4 Mexican cheeses. I loved the one inside the half pineapples, which is like a purée pineapple with a nice spicy quick. They also offered the fried sweet plantains. Let’s talk about the meats. No lamb was offered, which was a disappointment. We were offered chorizo, two types of chicken, sirloin in variety of seasoning, filet mignon and picaña. All of the meats were very flavorful although the picaña was not as good.Although the restaurant is beautifully appointed and they use white tablecloth, they use paper napkins. A great touch in the bathroom is the large bottle of mouthwash with little plastic cups and the hand lotion. The bill for 4 people ( 3 margaritas and a glass of wine) came up to $100! How did we arrive to the restaurant? We met a friend after crossing the Santa Fe bridge and called an Uber ( about $10).

Went for dinner with friends over Christmas and we had a lovely, lovely time. The margaritas were delicious and the dinner was great. I am a vegetarian and always wonder if I will have good options at a steakhouse (which I think this place is considered one). I had plenty to eat and the best part was the dessert.

Very nice experience. Good food, friendly staff and clean establishment. I was a little nervous about eating red meat cooked medium in Mexico but overcame my fear the moment I walked through the front door and spotted the display case of meat cuts. Menu prices are a little high compared to other restaurants in the area but cheap compared to South Florida prices. I would highly recommend

Surely one of the best (top three) old / traditional places in Juarez. Not a pretentious place, just good steaks, kebabs or tacos, as they should be. The fresh hand made tortillas, are just great along with the salsas served. The place is well immersed and surrounded in a "bulls-and-bullfighter's" atmosphere and memoralia. Like a time travel to those days back then.A curious fact is, and beware, they don't accept any credit cards; that traditional way of doing things. Good place to bring the whole family.
