Music museum "World of Talking Machines" is a collection of rare vintage music talking machines and artifacts. We tell you the story of audio world since 1880 to 1980. Start your music time travel from vintage music box to LPs and cassettes! The Museum guides lecture excursions in three halls - Vintage, USSR and Disco. There is also local history’s corner devoted to Khabarovsk’s sound recording. We listen to music of different centuries and genres played by gramophones, tapes, boomboxes, LPs players. One of several memorial buildings on quiet Pushkinskaya Street, this museum is characteristic of the architecture of the 1930-1940 Soviet period.

The Museum bears the name of traveler and scientist Vladimir Klavdievich Arseniev. Permanent museum exhibits on the history and culture of Primorsky Krai and Vladivostok are combined with rotating temporary exhibits which allow visitors to become acquainted with various collections.
