A small eco-lodge and campground set directly on Paradise beach, Sanyang. We offer kingsize, luxury, wooden, thatched cabins on stilts overlooking the sea, with pure cotton nets and fans. Also beautiful tipis with coir flooring, comfortable mattresses, fans and nets. We have a restaurant bar and plenty of places to relax to enjoy the beach or shady jungle with its birdlife.

Reviewed By diskman2015I have stayed here before and this time was a better stay as it was longer and I got to eat more of Sol's cooking. Solomon for me is one of the best cooks in the Gambia with his own uniquie hosting style which reflects the guest, space to chill and be alone or he also becomes a tour guide doing trips to other lodges and places of interest. The Lodge had had a make over and was clean with new tipees. Out of many of the Lodges in Sanyang Bees Mouths beach is kept clean by the staff. I will stay again.

We are located in Bijlio a few minutes walk from Brufut Beach where you will find several beach bars We are a short ride away from Senegambia Strip around 5 minutes in local taxi All rooms are Ensuite with Solar hot water, fan and safe

Its is a cool nice and quite place for long or short stay and very close to the main highway that is linked to different parts of the country and neighbouring country which are are mins drive away. It is very closed to the Airport and not very far from the coast. Also you can get to know or see a Gambian local environment with friendly people. It is not far from a lower grade school if one wants to make a visit. A nice restaurant (HAPPY CORNER) just some minutes walk from the resident where you can grab foods of your choice and nice views around. Don't miss it as you will love it.

Reviewed By 541Viking1I stayed at this place one night and was surprised that it did not look like I thought when I saw pictures of the building both here on TA and even booking.com. I can then confirm that there is something that does not match this accommodation. The room was not de-luxe exactly, the breakfast was quite bad, the bathroom nothing to talk about. I did not see any bathtub either. Almost nothing matched the description. I'm sorry.

Reviewed By PieterdeNWe prolonged our stay here due to the corona crisis. We were the only guests. Sophie was very helpful in giving us information. But be aware, sometimes the electricity goes down, sometimes internet is not available for a day and the water is switched off temporarily. That having said, we have slept well due to the cool breeze, the lay-out of the premises (6-7 cabins + pool) is nice. Staff is a bit lazy (last night dirty dishes are still there at 11 o'clock in the morning). No hot water, but take a shower in the afternoon. The pool is refreshing. The food is good, due to the French proprietress. Free transfer to Dangane by piroque (30 minutes) Mar Lodj is just for relaxing in your hammock, there is not much to do. Just enjoy.
