Reviewed By Honest_UllaWe visited Lavender Hill to attend a wedding. The views and the ambience is perfect. The standard suite with a view was affordable and gave us a good night's rest in a spacious room with beautiful decor and a stunning view. The chapel and wedding reception area was perfect for a dream wedding, although the bar service can be improved by providing more than one bartender for a thirsty crowd of 100+ people. Also, the sound system echoed in the chapel and made it difficult to hear what was said. Overall, great service and I will defintely recommend it to anyone.

Reviewed By Inri MHi Hester, As per my feedback to you, the room was a bit dusty, the toilet would not stop running, and the shower overflowed; and would have liked to have a tv/screen- I assumed the family room would have one. Other than that loved the French décor theme, and small touches (rusks, tea selection, coffee sample, milk, make up towel, coat rack, recommendations) and had a really great time as your establishment is walking distance from town. Wi-Fi is great. Would be great to bring my book club as your set up is perfect for a small group

Reviewed By cillamu79Absolutely stunning little place, when we arrived we were met with a warm and friendly welcome from David who went the extra mile to make sure we were all settled in and comfortable. The room is so cozy and comfortable, with everything you will need. The heat and electric blanket was put on for us before we arrived, so the room was super warm and cozy. Will definitely stay again. It is definitely a must if you having to make a stop in Harrismith.

Reviewed By sprior377812The road to the estate was in shocking condition, yes they had had a lot of rain, but I was grateful to be in a 4x4. There was a member of staff there during the night who never approached us to ask if everything was ok, instead he and another, I presume member of staff, stood talking very loudly to one another for a long time in the evening. The room was fine and probably clean, but didn't feel like it. There were stains on the sheet of the double bed and the mattress was soft and sinky. The whole room needs more than a face lift. Damp in the walls, pipes sticking out, door to bathroom hanging badly on a rail and not closing etc. The list is long, suffice to say although the setting was pretty, it was completely over priced for what was offered, and I should have been warned about the condition of the road.
