Clean and pleasant
Reviewed By noracassandraI stayed for 2 nights with my 22y daughter. So somehow friends trip. The receptionist was pleasant, we were given full instructions about the hotel clearly which was nice as we had no more questions after that. The room was clean. I did not like the high step to the toilet as I suffer from pain in my joints and it’s difficult to climb such a step if woken in the middle of the night or early in the morning. Another thing that bothered me were the 80cm beds. They were too small. I mean if you are a person that moves a little in their sleep you might fall off the bed. I loved the big window that lessened the need to turn lights on. Each floor seems to have a small kitchenette where is a microwave, cutlery, bowls and plates to use if needed. Also there was a fidget with small container with locks (1 container to each room) to put items in if bought for the shop. The floor also had a washing room with machine, dryer and iron. Also each floor had toys for kids to borrow and play, which I thought was a wonderful thing. Coffee and tea are available for guest for free all working hours of the reception. I thought that was so nice because I can’t eat in the mornings but having a cup of coffee is my morning pleasure. We faced two days of rain and the reception provided an umbrella to borrow. And I heard they also allow guests to borrow bicycles for free in summer times. Truly lovely and worth the price.

The Norlandia Tampere Hotel is beautifully situated on the hospital campus only three kilometers from Tampere city centre with excellent recreational possibilities. The rooms are designed to conform to a variety of needs. Rooms can also be joined as family rooms with the use of intermediate doors. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snack. Hotel also offer an a´la carte menu. Hotel´s Cafe Care and the reception are open for 24 hours. There is limited number of paid parking spots for hotel guests.

Reviewed By moc2008This hotel has superb rooms, but pathetic breakfast & doubles up as a hospital; yes....a hospital. Everything about this place is just bizarre. You truly wouldn't believe you're in Finland. Outside are just carparks upon carparks! If you wish for scenery; absolutely forget it.

Reviewed By Tomi_WickmanReally spacy camping. Clean showers, toilets and kitchens. The small shop has basic products available. The pizza in the restaurant was quite nice and there’s also salads and smaller snacks and burgers. The area is kids friendly. You have to buy your own wood for open fire bbq. The morning sauna is a bug plus.

Nice place if you wanna catch a plane

The place is mostly self service. The common areas were clean. Everything you need is available for a flight night

Perfect for our needs
Reviewed By 427jussikWe stayed at deluxe loft room, and it was perfect for family traveling with kids. Usually, we have sofa bed or spare bed in room or two rooms combined, but this was way better for us. Room was spacious and kids enjoyed their time at their own balcony. Still, they were in our sight all the time. They seem to learn from these review or other guests who has written reviews hasn’t find the right breakfast place. They had special breakfast for our room and it had table service for warm dishes. You should really try asparagus with bacon. It was excellent. Kids loved American pancakes with vanilla. Hotel is well located. Easy access to center of the city, slopes and cross-country skiing. Everything that we want to do in Levi. Overall we loved the place and will come back again next time.

A beautiful old sauna
Reviewed By 465angelikapAn unusual place with very nice staff. Quite unexpectedly, the overnight stay was in a house with an old sauna. Climate completely different from ordinary hotels, but instead of a 5 star hotel I will always choose this inn.

Big cabin with a view
Reviewed By Malena181We stayed five nights in Sielikkö Aurora Log cabin, and it was a nice place to stay. The living room is big and cozy with a fireplace and comfortable couches. The two main bedrooms are smallish, and there are some more beds upstairs. The cabin is well equipped with washing machine and many kitchen utensils. There is a nice sauna to enjoy after outdoor activities, and a terrace, too. Generally everything was fine, just some lamps and little things didn't function. The cabin is located uphill from the centre of Saariselkä, which makes it quiet and gives a nice view but it's not so practical to walk there although the distance is not so long.

Reviewed By MikaK846We arrived at QP-Resort at the end of a long drive on a Friday afternoon. We immediately felt very welcome; although there were other customers at the front desk, we were all catered for. The staff was very friendly and helpful, customer service in the right place. We were booked with a family room where the two rooms were connected by a door. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the beds in the daughter's words "enchanted", as she could have continued her dreams to the afternoon if her parents had not demanded her attendance for breakfast. The rooms have new comfortable beds and, depending on the price level, either private bathrooms or toilets and showers are located in the hallway. The price is very low even in the larger and more equipped rooms. Since it was low-season, we agreed to come for breakfast at about nine o'clock (late both mornings because the beds were enchanted) and breakfast was served at the table. The coffee was delicious, the porridge perfect, the eggs were fried as desired and the table had everything you need for a good breakfast. And if I had come up with anything else, I’m sure the staff would have arranged it, they were so friendly! And the restaurant! Delicious Italian and Finnish dishes, and when bringing the menu to the table, we were reminded to ask if something was missing from the list. The pasta carbonara my daughter missed was arranged, and it was so heavenly that we all ate it for lunch the next day. Chanterelle ravioli, whitefish and salmon were so wonderfully fresh and mouth-watering. And those desserts! Homemade ice creams, a chocolate cake that melted in your mouth and such good tiramisu! In the area you will find a barbecue hut, a campfire hut, an outdoor trail with breathing exercises and great scenery on the shore of Kallavesi. We went to the sauna in the evening (just ask). The owners plan to have all kinds of services in the area, as long as they have time. I highly recommend when looking for peaceful, interesting and affordable accommodation even for a larger group!
