Top 10 Spas & Wellness in Tulum, Quintana Roo

Mayan ruins tower over the sea in Tulum. The formerly walled city was one of the last to be built by the Mayans, and its archaeological sites are incredibly well preserved. Take a break from the beach to visit El Castillo, the Temple of the Frescoes, and the Temple of the Descending God. Explore an underground river under a canopy of stalactites in the sacred caverns of LabnaHa Eco Park, or dive into Cenote Dos Ojos to snorkel inside of caves in the middle of a forest.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marco a couple months ago when I was in Tulum on my own healing journey. I felt his loving healing energy immediately and as soon as I hugged him I new he was a powerful healer and such a beautiful soul. The massage and energy work was unlike anything I have experienced. I have yet to find anyone that can do anything remotely similar and cannot stop thinking about how truly transformative and freeing it was. I felt my energy shift completely when I got off the table and have had so many powerful releases since the session. Thank you Marco, I truly believe you helped me get to the next level of my healing. I cannot wait to come back to Tulum and book another appointment ( or 2 or 3) with you!

We loved our day. It was a gorgeous location with a really good instructor and staff. Some of the group were beginners and others experienced yogis, but the class worked for everyone. I would highly recommend the experience. It took about 4.5 hours all together so plan accordingly. Snacks were lovely but there weren’t enough chocolate balls for everyone and fly covers for the fruit might be helpful! All in all, a highlight of our trip!

I just finished a 10 day yin/yang retreat at Tribal. It was such an amazing experience. I stayed in one of the lofts there and enjoyed the room, the roof, the studio, and all of the amazing yoga and teaching that Joanne led. We did a deep dive into yin yoga and it’s history. We learned anatomy and nutrition. We ate wonderful meals, enjoyed beach meditation, and discussions about the organs and meridians that yin yoga affects. I really appreciated all of the attention to details that Joanne has provided both in her hospitality in the lofts and the yoga practice. It’s a very clean and safe studio and the perfect place for me to regenerate my body and soul during Covid.

My wife and I booked a couples massage at Naay Spa El Dorado seaside suites. We had booked massages when here in March. We requested therapists Erica and Dayana who we had last time. My wife really liked her massage with Erica and as last time, Dayana gave me a fantastic massage. Erica and Dayana are truly the best at their jobs. They both treated us like family and remembered us from our last visit. We have booked again for the day before we leave. The spa is beautiful and offers many relaxing and beauty services. Others at the spa that need to be recognized are reception check in - Jesus, Spa butlers Geronmia and Miriam who were very helpful and sweet to my wife. Isabel who braided my wifes hair a couple times did an excellent job and was also very sweet and nice.

Wow, what a gifted healer and beautiful presence. I only had time for one session with Jelena while I was in Tulum, wish I could have a hundred more! Rarely do you find somebody equally skilled in both energy healing and physical healing. Jelena clearly has a deep understanding of human musculature. She walked me through a number of my physical issues, echoing recommendations from doctors and physical therapists, but also giving me further insight into how I can heal. Thank you Jelena I hope to see you again some day!

This place is an amazing familiar and friendly gym! It is my second time in Tulum for a long term stay (6 months) and so it is the second time I decide to train Muay Thai with Cesar and Fernando at Tulum fighters. The training sessions are very fun and all guys that train there make the experience even more enjoyable. The guys always adapt their level so that everyone can learn and have fun at the same time that you get in shape. They also do competitors class two times per week in the afternoon in case you have an advanced level and like to take it more to the limit thai style. It is just an amazing place to train no matter if you are staying in Tulum 1 week o 6 months. Staff and members always friendly and in good mood. A little Muay Thai brotherhood in Tulum.
