September 15, 2021 Vivienne Hutton

Every neighborhood in San Francisco has its own personality, from the hippie chic of the Upper Haight to the hipster grit of the Mission. The Marina district boasts trendy bistros and postcard-perfect views of the Golden Gate Bridge, while Noe Valley offers quaint and quiet boutiques. Wave hello to the sea lions at Pier 39, and sample local cheese and charcuterie at the Ferry Building. Sit in on a yoga session in Dolores Park or marvel at the Dutch Windmill across from Ocean Beach.

Suchada Traditional Thai massage

After a full day of touring San Francisco, a relaxing therapeutic massage in an ambiance of Thai antiques and a lotus pond is a unique experience. Very easy on the wallet also.

I thought I knew what a luxury massage was! That all changed once I found myself in the hands and care of the massage therapist at Suchada! I immediately knew I was in for an extraordinary experience. Without sounding cheesy, I felt like I was in the hands of a true master. I recommend the 90 minute essential oil massage! It was very easy to walk to from the tech district. I will make this my new stop whenever I'm in San Francisco.

Remede Spa

Reviewed By The_Loup_Garou - Phoenix, United States

It seemed that we had been flying to 1-2 day meetings, all Spring, and into the Summer. While many of the places, where we found ourselves had spas, there was just never time. At last, we landed in San Francisco, in July, so I made an appointment with Remède Spa in the St Regis Hotel, even though we were staying a few blocks away. This visit was only for a gentleman’s manicure and pedicure, as we were flying back out, that evening – just no time for a massage. However, we will be staying at the St Regis in August, so maybe then? My two favorite technicians were not working, but the available one, was highly recommended, and well she should have been, as she too was excellent. I was warmly greeted by the spa manager, who had me situated in the “quiet room,” waiting for my appointment time. That room is small, but comfortable, and I had a glass of Champagne offered to me, which I gladly accepted. In moments, I was up to the nail salon, and my treatments started. Everything was perfect, and I now have a third “favorite technician!” Great, in every respect, and I hope to extend the spa treatments next month. Depending on my wife’s schedules, we might be able to fit in a couples’ massage, which has always been excellent, in the past.
