Top 10 Spas & Wellness in Boston, Massachusetts (MA)

January 5, 2022 Brandee Mangan

Walk the Freedom Trail the first time you visit Boston and you'll quickly get a sense of this coastal city's revolutionary spirit and history. But make sure you also explore some of Boston's fine museums (try the Isabella Stewart Gardner, featuring masterpieces displayed in their collector's mansion) and old neighborhoods (like the North End, Boston's Little Italy). You can't claim to have experienced real Boston culture, though, until you've watched a Red Sox game from the bleachers.

I had an 80-minute aromatherapy massage today with Thipawan and it was hands down the best massage I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the Spa I felt like I was on vacation. It's kept incredibly clean, smells amazing, and the sound of the waterfall wall in the lobby instantly relaxed me. I didn't wait long before Thipawan greeted me and escorted me to the treatment room. She carefully reviewed everything with me, asking about preferred pressure, areas I wanted her to focus on, etc. and then recommended a specific essential oil for the massage based on a health condition I had listed on my sheet. It was a Frankincense and cedarwood blend that smelled wonderful (despite wearing a mask the entire time!). The massage was absolutely phenomenal and I left feeling like my back was 10 pounds lighter. I highly recommend her as a therapist! COVID note: They're doing an exceptional job keeping the Spa safe. Their shared-space facilities are closed, temperature checks are required upon entry, and they ask all guests to wear masks at all times. We also only saw one other guest the entire time we were there (my husband had an appointment as well) so they are clearly spacing out appointments to minimize guest interaction. I love this place and if I could give it 6 stars I would. If you're looking for a luxurious spa experience, book here - it's worth every penny!
