If you love Cuban food, come here. Best tamales in town. Down to earth, non-pretentious, good prices, plenty of parking.

Fun evening with great food. The fun was Frankie the singer with his music machine singing classics from Sinatra to Elvis with some Latino songs mixed in. The tapas were excellent; chorizo al vino, gambas al ajillo and the best ensalada Rusa I have had in a long time. (This is a potato salad with extra ingredients.) The entree was the solomillo al cabrales - a filet mignon with a cheese and cream sauce cooked perfectly. Finally the restaurant has an extensive wine list.

The snapper had a distinctive flavor and was very rich in taste. I do not eat meat but even my friend's steak was very tempting. Will definitely return. They have a great selection of traditional Cuban dishes and soup. Their ajiaco is superb, as well as their tamal en cazuela. Their masas de Puerco was just OK, sort of bland, more seasoning would have helped. The service was great all thru the meal.

Little Havana Restaurant

My family and I were staying in North Miami for a quick trip and were looking for some Cuban food when we stumble upon this place in the listings. Let's just say it was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Accompanied by some live music (which wasn't too loud at all like most places), the entire atmosphere was fun and great for families or groups. The food, from the appetizers to the main dishes were fantastic. I would recommend starting off with the fried yuca cheese balls (deliciosos!) and the plantain chips (some of the best I've ever had; light and very crispy). For the main courses, the ropa vieja was a popular choice, as was the Little Havana Steak. We were pleasantly surprised each entree came with white rice, black beans, and fried plantains so it is definitely a great value for the price. As for drinks, the mojitos were delicious. We tried the regular and the mango and both were very good, and nice and strong :)The service was just as great. We can't wait to come back next time we visit Miami!

This restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel. We were very disappointed and would not go back. First of all, the staff do not speak English. We felt like nobody wanted to wait on us due to the fact that we did not speak Spanish. Most importantly, the food was poor; it was served cold and we felt like there was nothing we could do about it due to the language barrier. Very poor experience.

I have been visiting this Cuban bakery/restaurant for over 20 years, and it’s still the same. Fresh pastries, delicious breakfast, great customer service and excellent Cuban coffee. The sausage taste homemade, the Cuban toast with butter is delicious and the display of pastries and cakes are really pretty. Even though I had moved to another state for a few years, when I come back home to Miami, I am always coming here for breakfast or guava pastries. They are delicious and filled with guava and cheese inside the pastry. It’s not too sweet, just that fruity taste that’s right. I will definitely be back this week. I also added some photos for your view.

I should have taken a picture but it looked so good and tasted even better. My husband and I got different plates so we could share and this is the best way to taste a little bit of everything. He got the puertorican breakfast and I got the bistec a caballo. His came with mofongo and mines with steak. They both came with eggs, mines with fries and his with bacon. We shared everything!! It was as delicious as it looked. I love coming here because at night it is very lively but sometimes you are really hungry and want to eat a hearty, flavorful breakfast and THIS IS IT.. Hidden Gem in Hialeah off of the palmetto.. For 20 dollars we had an amazing brunch.. The next time I come back i will update with pictures to do this review justice. One thing though.. Our waitress was not around and we asked another waitress for water.. We almost choked and she gave her tables water and not us.. *owners take note*.. This is not a waitress that represents your wonderful restaurant.
