This is our third review of this very special restaurant. The quality of the food, the setting and the service is truly exceptional, and remarkably consistent over the years.The only critical reviews refer to the âslowâ service - so if you want fast service, donât go. If like us you enjoy ambience in a perfect romantic setting with friends or a special person; and to enjoy a remarkable 7 course tasting experience, then you MUST visit.If you can book a room here as well, that is the ideal, because their breakfasts are equally indulgent and in a different but equally beautiful breakfast room.

Wandering around a wet Valldemossa at 7pm looking for a bite to eat on our first night in Mallorca. We stumbled across Sâestret. There was one table left & 1 stool, but the friendly waitress welcomed us, and luckily my husband & I were happy to squeeze onto the beach together. This restaurant has seating for 12, so itâs a intimate gathering but not with a cramped feel. We ordered various tapas, which were very tasty, which arrived at a relaxed place. The Kia Royal was delicious too. The waitress didnât rush us & we could stay as long as we wanted. The chef thanked us and waved us goodbye on our exit. Definitely recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

This was our second visit. The first time was lunch and we shared a starter and desert and had main dishes each. Remarkable valueSecond time the the smaller of the tasting menus. Very good indeed. Noted the wine mark up relatively modest. Outstanding food and nothing we had ever eaten elsewhere.

The meat was outstanding - the foie gras starter, chateau briand and the Swiss rib eye were terrific cuts, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The wines were also excellent and good value. The flan dessert didn't match the quality of the other course. The owner was friendly and helpful and the service was good. I have been here several times, and I will keep coming back! The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere; everything looks fresh(and clean). The staff is very friendly, polite and professional. The food is amazing! We were a group of 6, and all of us were pleased with the food. I had the octopus which looked and tasted great, and the delicious nutella chessecake.The views of the sea and the light breeze completed the experience.Definitely recommand it!

We had 2 very enjoyable meals here as a family during a recent stay in Bunyola. Picanha and Solomillo steaks were both beautiful cuts of meat, perfectly cooked. Iberico pork was also fantastic, as was the duck! Starters including ceviche, tuna tartare and razor clams were also excellent. We were well looked after by the staff, and we were recommended a lovely bottle of local Syrah on our second visit. Highly recommended!

Disappointing. Food ok but no wow, service a patronising script and the 3 salts gimmick bizarre. Lovely view though. I don't like your comment, actually it makes me kind of angry.It's not because you gave us 3 star rating. We booked this restaurant after reading the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The 7 course taster menu of local produce was imaginative, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The staff were lovely and the whole evening was a fabulous experience. It was an unforgettable part of our holiday and we could not recommend it more highly.

We went to El Castillo on opening night. Really enjoyed the ambiance. It is a tastefully setup restaurant, with great care for detail. Also the food and staff all wonderful. We really enjoyed it. Also the fact they try and do everything to limit the environmental impact is worth mentioning.
