1 minute from gondola and very friendly staff and instructors. After reading many reviews, Ski Geogre did not let us down for ski hire and lessons. We booked 4 days of lessons, 2 hours each for my daughters aged 10 and 13 who could ski and seperate lessons formy wife and son who had never skied before. Both instructors were good but Vasel who looked after my wife who was nervous was fantastic and helpped progress her and my son. He mad it interesting and took them away from the main section to help them learn. He was very patient and looked afterthem both.They take the time to help and support and fully recommend them over some of the bigger companies. Tip for missing the gondola queues 1) get there by 7.45am otherwise you will miss your 9am lessons 2) when coming from car park, join right hand queue as faster if both queues look the same 3) pay 10lev each and get a taxi 4) Drive up to one of the car parks by the top gondola station. If car park 1 is full, you can park in 2 or 3 and jump on ski run 1 right at the end, which you can ski down straight into the top section.

Everything was perfect. Since we arrived, George had patience to explain us the details and to decide on ski schedule (we booked 4 days x 3h for our son and 2 days x 2h for me and my husband). We want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Lazar, the instructor who went with our son on the top slopes and who took very good care of him, although our son doesn't speak English. He brought him safe everytime back and he skied very well. And we want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Val, our instructor who passed the test of patience with us (especially with myself) and who made me overcome my fear of skiing and to exceed my own limits! Pirin snow is perfectly located so that you can park your car get your rental equipment and walk straight to the gondola. The service from the staff was great and they were extremely useful. Prices were the best we could find for rentals.

We are very happy with our choice of ski school Snow Peaks and mostly with our ski instructor Dido who was in duty for our 4 years old daughter. He was always on time and was staying with us until the last minute of the lesson (even little more if needed), although my daughter was tired some times. My daughter got a great progress and for only 6 days she was skiing alone along the whole piste doing many turns. I am very satisfied with his attitude towards my daughter, the way he was talking to her and the way he was encouraging her. The most important thing for me is the fact that she still wants to go ski again.
