Amalfi presents itself to tourists as a fantastic place even if its beaches, except those facing the city, are difficult to use because they can be reached either by sea or through long stairways but it is in any case a unique experience in close contact with nature. . the Holy Master is St. Andrew the Apostle. If you love reading and books go to visit the Paper Museum located in an old water mill. To see in the museum: the ancient machines with which the rags were broken up, paper was made from this important raw material. Another museum that you should visit is that of the Arsenale della Repubblica. But it is impossible to visit, admire and understand Amalfi well without a guide who makes his work a mission. Michelangelo will make the guided walking tour of about 2 hours, along a path of about 1 km that crosses the historic center of the city and its main monuments, unforgettable and unique.

The was interesting and very well explained by our guide but a little superficial due to time constraints as we were late due to heavy traffic. Ravello is well worth the visit but the drive in and out can be a little unnerving for some. The steep and winding cliff side roads can make you feel a little insecure.

8. Guided Private Bike Tour through Chiunzi Pass from Amalfi

Via delle Cartiere, 8, 84011 Amalfi SA, Italy Cycling Amalfi Coast

Those looking for the most popular destinations may opt for the Amalfi Drive route, those who prefer quiet roads can choose the tour of Agerola, but this other option we offer has a bit of both: starting from Amalfi, we reach the famed town of Ravello, after a few steep km of climbing. Definitely not an easy ride for anyone, but if you choose pedal assisted e-bikes you will barely feel the incline! After Ravello, there's still a long climb on one of the quietest roads in this area, and once at the top you are rewarded with a view well worth your while. We descend on a different road towards Maiori, to close a loop with a short stretch on the coast (which may get quite busy at times, so basic cycling skills are still a must).

Inclusions: Helmet, pedals (different options available on road bikes), other bike gears on request., A bidon with spring water or sports drink is provided (on request)., A brief coffee break or little snack at a selected bar or kiosk on the way is offered, unless timing doesn't allow it., Use of bicycle

Exclusions: Cycling clothes/shoes (not required)., Damage insurance (not offered)., Gratuities, We can plan a lunch stop at a local restaurant on full day rides, cost is not included in the tour price., Extra snacks at the coffee break (if any).
