Demian was an amazing tour guide. He definitely gave us our money’s worth and catered the day to what we wanted to do. He also made amazing suggestions that took us to some sights that are well off the beaten path, where all the tourists are, like the petroglyphs. He made our “delayed” honeymoon a trip that we won’t forget. My wife’s only request was to see sea turtles without having tosnorkelkng for them, he knew right where to find them. I would suggest this tour for anyone who wants to see the island. Thank you Demian for the experience you gave to me and my wife. We appreciate it!

Zak was INCREDIBLE! Without him there, we would of missed out on SO much! The road isn’t too sketchy to drive yourself but without his knowledge, passion and wisdom on the trip, we wouldn’t of seen everything we did! This is our honeymoon and he made it the best experience we’ve ever had! This will be something we will never forget and it’s all because of the incredible job done by Epic Maui Hikes and Zak! Already recommended them to my family and will send everyone I know their way! They are so humble, great, cool people that are so genuine and truly love what they do. Wouldn’t go with any other touring company. Wish we could give more then 5 stars!

Epic Road to Hana Waterfall Adventure The way to hike and see the falls as the locals do! My husband and I were the only ones on the tour (social distancing score). We are not experienced hikers and Noah helped us navigate the terrain. He helped me overcome my fear of water and I was able to swim under the waterfalls! I would definitely recommend water shoes since we were hiking through some muddy areas. If I could give Noah 10 stars we would!

This is a good and inexpensive way to do the Haleakala sunset tour with audio narrative of things to see along the way to the mountain top. Good value for the price. A quick tip: this app burns through your phone battery fast so having a car phone cable is a must or else your phone battery will run out of juice pretty quick...

We planned only one excursion for our entire trip and we definitely picked the right one!! From the moment Scotty Joe picked us up, to the moment he dropped us off we never stopped learning interesting things about the island. We also never stopped laughing!!! The sightseeing was indescribably breathtaking! Scott Joe's knowledge of the island was immeasurable. We felt completely and utterly safe with him behind the wheel and the road definitely got a little hairy at times!! My husband and I aren't big on excursions and we are usually a couple that just does their own thing. So when I say this tour was a good choice, believe me it truly was!!

Yesterday my sister and I spent the day with Kellen on the 1/2 way to Hana. It was a perfect way to see and experience the beauty of Maui with a local! He was a great guide with lots of history and stories about the island and island culture. We stopped at many different places along the way that are known to locals, not just the same places everyone stops. Aloha! If you are wondering if you should spend a whole day of your vacation to do this tour the answer is YES, ABSOLUTELY! This tour is absolutely incredible! You will see waterfalls, gorgeous trees, greenery, flowers, beautiful beaches, a bamboo forest, and so much more! Our guide was Ana and she is AMAZING! She is so personable and friendly and funny and kind! I have been on many, many tours from Greece to Brazil to India to Germany and tons of places in between and this is by far one of the BEST TOURS I'VE EVER BEEN ON BECAUSE ANA IS SIMPLY AN INCREDIBLE GUIDE. We did the Road to Hana with Tom and it was such an amazing day. Tom was a fantastic guide, a great and super interesting guy to spend the day with, so knowledgeable about everything we asked him, and was he was totally focused on customizing our day to be exactly what we wanted. He went above and beyond and my husband and I were so impressed and so happy we did this! We knew at the end of the day that if my husband and I had tried to drive it ourselves, we could never have been so relaxed and happy all day, and my husband would not have been able to enjoy the spectacular scenery. If you go to Maui, you MUST do the road to Hana with Hoaloha Jeep Adventures, and definitely ask for Tom. It really will be one of the best vacation decisions you’ve ever made.
