St Carthage's Parish

Reviewed By jennydowell - Lismore, Australia

St Carthage is a beautiful cathedral that has recently been given further attention, a new marble aisle and altar. Whether you are a Catholic, Christian or neither, the cathedral is a lovely place to visit. The organ player is wonderful and there is often a woman soloist with a magnificent voice - both high in a balcony on the left side of the apse.

Back Alley Gallery

Reviewed By kpiddy - Brisbane, Australia

On the surface Lismore did not appear to have many sights to see, but there are lots of hidden gems to be found like the transformed laneways between Molesworth and Keen Street in the city centre. As part of an initiative to revitalise the city, graffiti artists from around the region and beyond have lined the walls with colourful pieces of artwork with what would have been quite a dull environment. No two pieces are the same, it's a photographers playground.
