Sitting in the Thorncrown chapel with my son on Sunday morning surrounded by the beauty of the foliage and enjoying the incomparable beauty of the architectural experience of the glass and steel structure listening to the sound of gently falling rain and rustling leaves. Such a soul soothing experience.

This is set on the side of a hill and there are several streets to wander. We almost made the mistake of only seeing the street with the visitors center. You have to go up the hill to see so much more. My husband even grabbed a few cigars at a good shop.

My inner 12 year old came out to play. A friend and my self were on a girl’s weekend. We went here based off the brochure we found in the hotel. The granddaughter who lives in the home, was super friendly and the gardens were breath taking. I would go back again. The entry fee of $7 dollars was very reasonable.
