We picked up a brochure at the visitor's center downtown and walked the short distance to this area. It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed seeing the different styles of architecture and reading the short history of each house.

1815 Federal style house and small gardens. Guided Tours are required to enter the house. Tours are (usually) scheduled for Thursday - Sunday at 1:30 and 3:00 (check website to confirm).

Because of COVID19 we had to make reservations online. Our tour of this historic house and the grounds was very interesting. Our guide for the house tour was informative. The house has been updated from the original house by the more recent occupants. Supposedly there are several ghosts that have been seen by visitors to the plantation. Thankfully we didn't see any. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Overall we enjoyed our stop here.

This beautiful ballpark is located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte set against the backdrop of the Charlotte skyline, and it is Home to the Charlotte Knights, AAA Chicago White Sox affiliate. There is not a bad seat in the park, although we always sit in the lower section to the right of the Pressbox which features padded seats and a section server. The park offers many diverse Food/Drink options including my favs gourmet hotdogs and Barbecue topped Nachos. Generous Promotional offers and Firework nights. Always a fun time!

A fairly new stadium, about 7 years old. Seats around 15,000. Small cozy field. There is no covered concourse, all in the open. Food option were good, Bojangles is prominent. Restrooms were clean , several parking garages close by. Good place to watch a ballgame. You have to go through security and metal detectors.

Our family has made Hall Family Farm a family tradition for spring strawberries and fall pumpkin picking for 6 years and enjoy it more every year. A great taste of the country in south Charlotte and a great family friendly place to spend a Saturday. Thankful for all the hospitality the Hall family has shared with our community for the last 10 years and would highly recommend taking a trip out.
