The Shops at Riverside

Reviewed By arissalovesart

The Shops at Riverside have undergone a lot of recent changes in the past few years. Many of my favorite stores have moved to Garden State Plaza (Burberry and Kate Spade NY to name a couple). However, Riverside offers Bloomingdales, Lilly Pulitzer, Cole Haan, Hermes, LK Bennett, Fountain Spa, and overall better restaurants compared to GSP. 9 times out of ten you'll find parking right away, it has some of the more conventional shops like HM and JCrew as well. I'm very excited for the new Sephora opening up and the eyebrow lady is excellent. There is no food court because it's not really that kind of mall. Overall, I think it's worth giving Riverside a chance of you're looking to buy an upscale gift, check out a movie, or eat at a great restaurant in northern Bergen county. Don't let the ongoing construction dissuade you, the improvements are noticeable.

The Outlets at Bergen Town Center

Went to Whole Foods, Disney store and Sticky’s. Satisfied with Whole Foods and Disney store. At Sticky’s we got the classic sandwich basket ($9.84) - it was average. I recommend the strawberry lemonade! It is fantastic! It was on the small size and it cost 3.05 but sooooo worth it! I wish I would have bought more to drink later.

Woodbridge Center

Reviewed By 715aidanm - Pittsburgh, United States

This mall is awesome! It was built in 1971, expanded and renovated in 1978, renovated for the second time in 1996-1997. then renovated yet again in 2003. The anchor tenants are JCPenney, Macy's (formerly Stern's), SEARS and Roebuck (formerly A&S), Boscov's (formerly Fortunoff), and Dick's Sporting Goods (formerly Gaylan's). Lord & Taylor has SADLY closed since my visit here. That used to be Orbach's and Steinbeck's. The elevators here are awesome! This mall sports 2 Haughton elevators, a Westinghouse, a Montgomery, 2 Otis elevators, and a Schindler. The best one was SADLY out of order, which was 1 out of 2 Otis elevators located in this mall. It was I think installed in 1978. It was modernized with EPCO SSL buttons in 2003. The largest was in Boscov's. The capacity: an earth-shattering 8,000 pounds! The exact curb weight as a 90's Humvee! The elevator in Dick's Sporting Goods was SUPER beaten up, smelled horrendous in there, and the door operator was sick! If you're in the area, I strongly recommend you visit this place. RATING: 4.9 out of 5.0

I prefer this mall over Rockaway or Willowbrook. Very clean, not as crowded, and has basically everything you need in it (Sears, Macy’s, Barnes & Noble, Food Court, Old Navy, Modell’s, Express, Lord & Taylor, Hallmark). Also it’s the largest H&M store in the area, bigger than other nearby malls.
