Top 10 Shopping in Saint-Merri, Ile-de-France

June 21, 2021 Leonarda Pillsbury

Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

I had the pleasure of having a personalised and guided tour of the shop by Lucille which was absolutely eye opening. She was so friendly and probably one of the best sales assistants I’ve ever stumbled upon. The products which are locally sourced and naturally derived are also refreshing and the concept of creating ones own bath & shower item paired with a fragrance of your choosing is a genius idea. I will forever keep on coming back to this shop every time I’m in Paris. It’s not just a shop but also offers an amazing customer experience which makes it worth dropping by.

I offer inside fashion experiences in Paris exclusively at ethical and independent designer ateliers, helping people think differently about clothing. In 4 hours, we will talk about getting the look you want, have breakfast, see street fashion, see art galleries, how designers make the clothing and of course shop the designer's workroom. It's special because once you have an insiders view of the "how" of fashion, feel natural textiles and have a chance to customize what you want from each designer. Choose from 4 unique immersive experiences. At its core foundation of a culture, France is known for everything handcrafted, ethical, quality, recycled, pure, natural, local, slow - sustainable. It inspired me to think of clothing and style in a different way and I want to show you what I see and how you will use this French philosophy to make changes in your own clothing choices. Take the “hippie” out of “eco” - only modern chic with a European edge. I can't wait to meet you!
