Alloway Farm Market is a great coffee stop on a way to/from Bundaberg. They have a local brand - Barking Dog Coffee est.1998 with 6 varieties and it is very good; tasty sweet treats, honey, fresh local fruits and vegetables including famous Forbidden Figs™ (they are sooo big, juicy and sweet, like candies, you simply cannot have enough of them), local macadamia nuts which are Very delicious (honey roasted, roasted salted, in dark and milk chocolate, raw nuts and more). The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They open 7 days a week 8am-6pm. Every time we are in the area we make a point to stop there for a cup of tea, a few local treats and a friendly chat. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

We did the whole day Larc tour and while we took several photos, we wanted to have something that captured our experience. So we checked out this gallery and there was an array of photographs in vivid colors to choose from. What captivated us the most (and purchased) were those captioned EARTH MEETS SKY WITH LARC and THE HEADLANDS. We also learned from Stuart’s dad, Ian, that proceeds from gallery sale go to communities overseas who are in need. That just about made our photographs more special.

this is a small gallery run by passionate people. The museum has a lending library of a large range of art books in conjunction with the library. During my stay they had two very interesting exhibits focusing on the local/regional: Found! Studio Dog, with most of the art pieces tied to man's (and woman's) best friend in a time of isolation and the other exhibit a history of the two iconic bridges of the town: the Burnett and Kennedy bridges built in the late 19th century.

We have a 9yo already addicted to ginger beer. What a great place for him to learn & experience how his fav drink is made, with interactive activities during the self guided tour, then taste testing with Marie, which included a take home pack. I now have a kid who has many more favourite flavours & a real understanding of how it is made. Add this to your list of stops in Bundaberg!
