On our last day we did some shopping for gifts at Fund Grube in Melonaras. The one on Faro Boulevard. It had as wide a choice in perfumes\ cosmetics as any Duty Free Shop and some excellent offers. Also the Aloe Vera creams, shoes, watches, clothing etc etc. My wife knows her prices and spent over £200 and believes she saved £75 on plane\ duty free prices and at least £250 on UK prices. Say no more. Well worth having a look for higher end products.

I like this branch of fund grube. I have been in others and felt overly pressurised to buy stuff. This one got the balance about right. It was larger than most I have seen and on many evenings had live music as well. I find their pricing more honest on fragrances than some of the other outlets such as Joy where they over inflate the price to appear to be offering massive discounts. That said, don't be afraid to try and get a bit more off as they will move a bit sometimes. The other good thing is that you know the merchandise is genuine. One very small gripe is that the store is pissibly too bright at night to the degree that I put sunglasses on at one stage to reduce the glare. Other than that, a great shop.

Had an amazing birthday weekend away in Gran Canaria and the yumbo centre is very family friendly during the day and then an amazing night life on the night with bars and restaurants.
