This is a Nice restaurant AT the waterfront in Friesland. They serve good food on the terrace and insiders. You can also rent holidayhomes and bots to sailt the lakes.We enjoyed our diner there.

Finally a restaurant in Grou, Friesland that doesn't serve meat/fish, spuds and 3 vegetables.Norma serveert offers "Spanish" style tapas although not in Spanish sizes, these are Dutch sizes; large. Thus we could not finish the 5 course menu offered.Apparently they source most of the produce from Spain. The food is outstanding; fresh, well prepared and creative.The wait staff is very attentive, polite. A bit loud at times, it is Holland after all.This place is a real find. It is a small establishment which only opens a couple of times a week so reservations are a must. We had to book 3 weeks in advance!Looking forward to the next time. Already decided to do a day of gardening so we are really hungry when we go:).

Second time in two weeks for us to visit this restaurant. In the 'Friese meren region' one of the best restaurants to visit.Priced very reasonable. Starters between 12-15 euro. Main courses around 20 euro.Informal yet classy, authentic and quick service. Good choice of foods, wine knowledge is notable.As a starter I had the veal sweet read and the codfish as a main course.

Passed through Sneek during a weekend outing in Fryslân/Friesland and discovered this restaurant by sheer coincidence. Decided on the spot to risk it, and were rewarded with a surprisingly fine meal. Having had a buffet breakfast, we went for a salad meal, seafood for my wife and chicken for me. A full plate, a magnificent meal and able as well as friendly service. This place is a gem, a cut above most places - and that at a most affordable price. In a word, excellence!

Wanneer je lekker, ongedwongen en waarbij een grote hoeveelheid eten tegen een betaalbare prijs uit eten wilt is dit de plek waar je moet zijn. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Een vriendelijke plek waar je goed kan vertoeven. De stoelen zitten prima maar passen niet helemaal bij de tafels en ander interieur. Een ruime kaart.

We have visited this restaurant numerous times over the past several years. The food is always excellent especially the rhubarb sauce. The owners are delightful to talk to and go out of their way to help us with our limited Nederlands vocabulary

This nice, cozy, rather exclusive restaurant is right at the lake (the east side of Sneker Meer). Yummie pan cakes. My kids had fish and chips (in dutch: kibbeling) and the quality was really good. Also the pan cakes are created with care. The other food on the other tables also smelled nice and looked good. Nice people. The playground of the restaurant is nice and big... but due to the rain full of muddy puddles.

It is not an overstatement but this place is a little paradise. Absolute best place I got to eat at during my two weeks in the Netherlands. Staff: enthusiastic, friendly and very professional. Setting: large bay window overlooking the edges of a lake and beautiful trees. Breakfast: nice plate with a good croissant, fresh egg and juice. Great coffee. Dinners: I went three times, pasta carbonara (can be vegetarian), zucchini soup, and / or a fish of the day that was cooked to perfection. Limited menu but prepared with love and with prime ingredients. Atmosphere: excellent music and friendly crowd. Absolutely recommended in every way possible. Excellent.

I was taken here by some locals we were visiting on a work trip... and we were all impressed! They had a delicious mix of tradiitonal and modern dishes. the quality of the ingredients was top notch and the décor is beautiful. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
