we were a group of 16 people, reserved ahead of time. found out we were put in the smoking area. when refused, we could only get 4x4 tables. the smoke penetrated the restaurant from the big door.we got 3 different set menus with 4 courses. the food was shockingly tasteless. do not get fish from the lake. nothing helped to give it a little taste. even the desert was disappointing.

At Il Ciclone, they have a variety of pizzas, among which some gourmet combinations that all sound very tempting. I ordered a pizza with yellow tomato sauce, artichokes, mozzarella, red chicory and capers and was very pleased! The crust is thin and the topping very tasty. We got a small piece of local cake as appetizer on the house. The ambiance seems fancy but the staff are very easy-going and nice, and service is fast, great if you're hungry! I love that they emphasize that they work with local products.

What a good restaurant. Exactly what a Michelin star restaurant should be. Very good cooking, attentive but informal service, solid wine list and a little bit of pageantry with the presentation. We had the Terra taster and almost every course was delicious, the Battuta was a personal favourite. By far the best meal we could find in Sirmione.

We were craving some sushi one night and ordered take-out from this place. We only had different sorts of maki sushi, but they were all excellent and freshly prepared for us. The other stuff on the menu looked great as well. If you feel like having some Japanese food while in Sirmione, try this restaurant!

This is mainly a pizza restaurant. They do serve pasta but their speciality is overwhelmingly pizza. The food was excellent. There seemed to be only one waiter on the day we were there so there was very little interaction and slightly short.

Lovely place, positive friendly service and good attitude Above all good cooking (though missed a beat in one respect). Tourist prices but food is good.Antipasti of prawns - delicious. Primi of sea bass ravioli and a lasagne, secondi of lamb (poor - herb crust was just salt crust - completely ruined the dish as totally out of balance) and salty cod (which was v.good)Desert was Milfeuille which was also very good, all washed down with a very nice white wineThe meal cost â¬250..... So on the whole expensive, but generally good cooking, however when they got it wrong they got it spectacularly wrong. When charging these prices and endeavouring to serve at that level every dish has to be spot-on. Shame.I would return, I would just pick carefully: the pasta is excellent, the Secondi a bit hit and miss

Having read the reviews, we thought we must give this a try. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food superb. The portion sizes, in some cases were slightly too big for our partners, but it depends on appetite and how hungry you are! The menu choices were excellent, as was the presentation and quality of food served. We had octopus, mussels, prawn cocktail ( not what you expect) and scallops for starters, followed by lobster pasta, steak, seafood pasta and swordfish. All thoroughly enjoyed.The house wine is adequate at â¬10, but for an extra â¬4, the Garda Merlot was worth it.Reasonably priced for the quality at around â¬130 for 4 with wine.When we return to Sirmione, we will certainly eat here again.

This was an amazing food expirience! We had homemade pasta with shrimps and octupus for a starter. Everything was super tastefull and delicious. The waitress was very helpfull with the dishes to choose. The only reason why it dosenât get five stars, is because the the two waiters was extremely buisy. This resulted in some mistakes in the bill, which made us pay a little bit more that we should. If you sit outside, you should know that the road is really close and a bit noisy. But i highly recommend this food!

Having not had a great experience in Desenzano since arriving this little place changed things. Since walking through the door being greeted with âsit wherever you would likeâ to the delicious food it was really lovely. The carbonara and lasagne potions were the perfect size accompanied by a bruschetta to share and a bottle of Sauvignon. Having a rule that makes me never go back to the same restaurant twice in one trip the best compliment I can give this little jewel is that we will return to spend our last evening here oh and the tiramisu
