This is such a fun place! Most of the tables are out doors, the wait staff is helpful, the food is good, and it is child/family friendly. There is a little playground and water park near by for the kids, and a nice walking trail near the restaurant. Don't take my word for it! We were looking for a restaurant with fresh seafood , trendy, and casual.We found it at Selva.The staff was friendly,knowledgeable, and attentive.The mixed drinks and wine selection was good.There were some bargains on the wine list.Appetizers and main courses both shined.We will return.

I have lived in Sarasota for 40 years. I believe Connors is the best restaurant in the area. The food is consistently fabulous, very large portions and the service great and the staff friendly and accommodating.Today I had grilled chicken on mashed potatoes and served with broccoli.My friend had shrimp and grits and said it was THE BEST she ever had.As a bonus the owner was there today, Bo Connor. He spent at least 20 minutes visiting with us at our table. Very impressive.The cappuccino was excellent. I only wish I could have been able to eat their homemade ice cream. One scoop feeds 3 or 4, very generous portion.We both had enough leftover for another meal.I never get tired of Connors!Thanks for the glowing review!

If ya love seafood, oysters this is the place to go. Its tucked away behind the main streets of Sarasota but oh so wonderful. The atmosphere is unique and don't let the gentleman in the lawn chair scars ya, he welcomes pictures! The food is awesome and the service is too. The pecan trout was big and the collard greens & red garlic potatoes are scrumptious. The mud pie had a hit of coffee flavor but not o er bearing.

Fish and chips were delicious! Grouper was also fantastic! Great service, good view of the boat marina,prices were good. Two family members got chicken sandwiches, which they said were average.

Every time my wife and I go to this restaurant, we have a great time. The service is always first class. On this trip, Chase, our waiter, was friendly and extremely helpful. The food is always great and our favorite dish is the pan roasted diver scallops. We will definitely return.HI Brian, Glad you enjoyed Clayton's and that our server Chase did a great job for you. My son and daughter in law took us to dinner for my birthday at this marvelous restaurant. None of us had been there before which is exactly why I chose it. We had a booth in the rear which gave us a nice view of the whole place. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgable of the menu. We all tried each others dished that were varied and each one was fabulous. Though it is a primarily seafood place, I ordered the Blue Crab crusted medalians of beef. I was not disappointed. Delicious and tender enough to cut with a butter knife. The redfish was also devine. The desert was without a doubt the best thing I've ever tasted. I think it was called passion fruit. WoW!!!Thank you so much for taking the time to review Veronica, we are so glad you celebrated with us on such a special day and we do hope you visit us again soon!

Was quite a drive but soooo worth the effort. This place is a hidden gem in a strip mall. Was skeptical upon arrival but pleased we entered the door. Antoine was very welcoming and explained the menu. OMG the mussels........ never ever seen such options!.......$27 for all you can eat any combo of mussels and he offered us even more options ...... we were in heaven.... and the Belgian frittes....... â¤ï¸ there were many other menu options but we stuck with the mussels. Had escargot appetizer which was excellent too. As for the trio of deserts...... we had creme brûlée, Carmel sea salt ice cream and choc mousse....... we left very happy customers!!!!!
