Everyday from 5-6 pm we enjoyed Happy Hour at the Azul Pool Grill. Prior to that we had amazing servers, Frank, and Joseph around the poo who kept us fed and hydrated. One of our favorites around the pool were the Chicken Wings. Pass on the Nachos, not good. Service was both friendly and attentive. That's why we love Costa Rica!!

We loved the hospitality and easy bach vibe at the Land Ho restaurant here, minutes away from the beach. It is owned by the MUrphys, who also own the Land Ho restaurant, a favorite long-time staple in Orleans, Cape Cod, MA.

Hadn't been here in years, so thought a return was in order. Since today is new years' eve,crowd was pretty light for lunch as everyone is planning for their parties!Well, although we were too early for either pizza or papas, we opted for a casado and some ceviche. Both were fresh and delivered fast - and the pickled veggies on the table added just the right amount of fire to our palates too!I'll try to get back for a pizza review later this week, but our lunch was spot-on. Only complaint was no wifi - but we weren't there for that anyway.

We dined here last week and it was delicious as usual. The snapper taco is perfectly prepared, such thickness of the filet and perfect battered crunch per bite.. no skimp here. So yummy . The veggie pizza was so good , super cheesy and full of veggies. Nice wine and cocktails. Great find. Super close to j w Marriott so venture out the gates and taste the unique restaurants near by.

If your staying at the JW Marriott in Guanacaste I highly recommend taking a walk on the beach (during low tide) to Lola’s for lunch. The food was great and the staff was awesome. The views were also spectacular

Just returned from Junquillal and had the pleasure of eating at Lochito's 3 times during our two week stay. Lochito's is hands down the best restaurant in Junquillal which is saying something because all the restaurants are great. Their seafood offerings are tremendous, there salads and vegetable pairing are fresh, crisp and incredibly flavorful. I've reviewed Lochito's before and nothing has changed. Great open air atmosphere, clean, wonderful staff, great food, cold beverages and great prices. Two entrees, two glasses of wine each and a bill of around $40. If you are in Junquillal simply go here often. We would have eaten here more but were intent on venturing out to other restaurants(and weren't disappointed) but at the end of the day Lochito's is still our favorite for seafood as well as their beef and chicken offerings. Can't wait to go back!!!!

The charming Mundo Milo is tucked 1 minute up a sleepy side road just as you approach Junquillal Beach. The setting is lovely, with candle-lit tables surrounded by tropical vegetation. We had white fish with coconut curry and mixed seafood pasta. Both were excellent. The service was gracious and the prices reasonable. We would definitely recommend Mundo Milo and hope to return soon.

This family run Villa sports the BEST restaurant in Costa Rica. Patrick, the Chef is phenomenal and has cooked for royalty and many US President’s.The food is exquisite, perfectly executed and incredible tasting. Dean (Patrick’s son) loves to fish and the specialty of the day is always his catch. Fantastic family, super friendly (you are welcomed like an old friend) , we went twice and could have ate there again and again. Simply the BEST! Thank you!
