We have been in Montecatini for a few days and enjoyed some hearty Tuscan cuisine. This was on another level if you enjoy your seafood. Mixed warm seafood starter, and mussels and clams as starters. Ravioli with walnuts and truffles, and seafood ravioli were outstanding. Great service, superb wine list, nice ambience and delightful experience make this our 5 star restaurant of the week. Enjoy !

Stopped by for dinner and without a reservation, we were seated within 5 minutes.The place was jumping that night!! All the staff were very professional. The Ravioli with Bolognese was very nice and the Picci with Asparagus was divine!!! If you find yourself in Montecatini Terme - definitely Check this place out!!! And be sure to order the Panna Cotta for dessert!! It was like a cloud from heaven!!

After a rest in the hotel, having been out on excursions all day, we wandered down to the restaurant on a hot evening. It's a lovely outdoor dining area, much better than most, with friendly and attentive staff. We started with Hot parmesan soufflé, which was stunning! Then onto fish and I had the Fillet of John Dory with zucchini flowers whilst the boss opted for Sole fillets with black truffle shavings. Both were simple and perfect! A nice bottle of Verdicchio and 2 bottles of water to cool us down, finishing with our usual americanos with hot milk. A perfect, all be it expensive, end to the day, then walking back to the hotel along the limes with intoxicating perfume. Food is OK. Menu offers italian classics. The staff are pleasant and some of them speak English. The desserts are spectacular.They however charge for tap water so be careful and they have a cover charge for each person no matter what you order.They are also far too quick to clear tables.We ordered a beer and slushies then stood up to take a picture and turned around to find our drinks gone.Tourist restaurant with tourist prices.Good morningPerhaps you are also right. The problem is that you have the wrong place and location.You didn't come to us.Greetings

This is really a hidden jewel in montecatini. Well worth a short walk from the centre to dine here. The food was exceptionally good, we each had separate dishes and raved about each. The waiter couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful and attentive. Great outdoor seating area with plenty of tables. Definitely recommend gatto blanco, in fact we returned here for our last night!

We visited on our first night after reading the reviews and it didn't disappoint! You need to try the Tomato and Bread soup...without doubt the tastiest dish of my entire holiday! Overall the service was great, food and service excellent. We tried to go back however it was closed.

We had the chance to stay over the weekend at my parents vacation house and enjoyed having dinner several times at this excellent restaurant. try the mix of fried calamares with vegetables or the pizzas or penne agli scampi!book a table before as well attended by local people.

I notice another reviewer said the beef tartare wasnât fresh. It certainly was fresh because it is served / created with much fanfare at the table and we thought it was one of the best steak tartare we have had. Overall, both the food and service was excellent and pretty faultless. My only criticism is the venue. The food was served in a bland and clinical setting. I understand that food is normally served outside in a garden setting but due to the extreme heat they retreated indoors to the comfort of air con. (A shame because the outdoor area is beautiful at night with subtle and atmospheric lighting.) We came here on the night when Italy was playing Germany in soccer, so there was a huge crowd of people eating and watching the little TV the restaurant had set up. We knew what to expect - slower service and a limited menu, as they were offering only a prix-fixe that night. We sat down and settled in to watch and eat. Our first courses were brought out right away. It was then that the problems started. We received wine but no cups to drink it out of. We couldn't flag down anyone who worked there for a good 15 minutes (and ended up using our water glasses for both wine and water). Engrossed in the game, it took us awhile to realize we hadn't been served our second course... for over 90 minutes from when we received our first course. No amount of asking the waitress did anything - she just said 5-10 minutes. Everyone around us (locals) received their full meals in a timely manner. We never did receive ours. After almost two hours of waiting, we left money on the table and left. We get that this was a busy night, and that local restaurants might prefer to serve local clientele, but two hours is just too long to make someone wait.

Researched this before we got to Montecatini .. the table setting, table lamps, the service were all second to none, the lady who served us had worked in Melbourne Australia & she was charming, we had 3 courses each & they were all perfection, the lady owner was so attentive & really cared that everything was right, we felt so special we wanted to go back, just ran out of time on our holiday, we will be back & this will be our first meal. Thank you so much for such a perfect. Evening.
