advised by tripadvisor, we went to this place full of exspectations. we were disappointed..the "lovely setting" was not tasteful, cheap and overdone decoration( too much is too much) , the staff not involved and superficial, and our knowledge of italian language was better than their english..the food was ok, but not outstanding and too expensive : the fish was fish: good resumé.romantism above the roofs? yes :one roof, and many starsnot a relection of the authentic asolian atmosphere...

Frankly speaking we were not expecting to find such a high class restaurant ! Congratulations to the chef and the management. We came here with a Groupon voucher and we had been treated with top service. I just ordered something different for my son which was excellent too. Seafood was delicious of very high quality : no doubt "first class" ingredients characterised by great freshness. You can find different menu proposals ... according to the catch of the period of course they are different but always inviting. There is the possibility to book a tasting menu of raw fish dishes too. Very elegant but sober place at the same time which makes you feel at ease.

Yesterday night I was at dinner in this beautiful place with my wife (and without children ... finally ...). Very nice location with soft lighting and very nice furnishings in every small detail ...... and very good food. Excellent "Tris tartare" and "Thai spring rolls" ...... then... a selection of sushi with 20 different qualities .... then tempura with octopus, shrimp and vegetables ...... all very good. I would say more than satisfactory the quality/price ratio. Highly recommended and we will be back soon.

Came here for a pizza after work on a Wednesday.Great location with large outdoor seating area and an upstairs main restaurant area, great service, new menu with an extensive selection of food.Service is friendly and quick is superb...decent portions and very tasty.Worth phoning ahead as it gets busy.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I really enjoyed eating the zucchini and shrimp pasta. This is one of my favorite dishes. I also got the mixed fried seafood, which was probably the best I have ever had. For dessert I had tiramisu, but my family members had ice cream with a mixture of berries. Both were excellent. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area. Also be aware that the menu does not have the prices on it.

Garden Relais is the perfect combination of ambiance and food. The staff are very welcoming, rapid and knowledgeable in terms of Menu and recommendations. The food in itself is impeccable with an extraordinary variety ranging from pizza, pasta, meat and fish platters. This is equally applicable to the desserts.I recommend going for lunch and sitting outside to enjoy the view and the atmosphere. Also, it is definitely a place for banquets and/or celebrations! We had dinner last night in this place . It was empty when we arrived ( Thursday eve ). Service was slow at the beginning and our server didn't give us the menu therefore I had to ask for it ( otherwise what am I supposed to order ??) house wine was ok ( prosecco and ribolla gialla). We had antipasti misti di pesce (6 mixed warm and cold appetizers). Plus a risotto di pesce to share. Appetizers were fresh and tasty ( expect carpaccio di tonno which was too dry ). Risotto had a lot of butter . I recommend to serve some lemon and olive oil with the appetizers . 3 dessert ( we were in 12 ppl). We spent almost â¬50.00 each . Not cheap.... probably will be back in the future ... not very soon considering other places in the area

We dined here last night and it was absolutely delightful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and in excellent condition. Signore Guglielmo and Ana took great care of us this evening. He was very detailed in explaining his fresh fish offerings for that night and very patient as I understand Italian but I don't speak it fluently. He prepared starters of fresh gnocchi in a pomodoro sauce for my wife and a lighty smoked swordfish for me. He also brought a small tasting of the gnocchi for me. Both were outstanding! The swordfish was thinly sliced on a bed of fresh crisp lettuce and drizzled with an olive oil, vinegar and lemon dressing, seasoned with salt and pepper just right. The gnocchi was light, the pomodoro sauce was as fresh and flavorful as we have ever had. We then had a seafood fagioli soup which included calamari and shrimp, very hearty and tasty. We were getting full and concerned that we would not be able to enjoy our second piatti. Our main came, branzino grilled and simply served with fresh lemons on the side. The fish was about 2 pounds, so it was a good size for the two of us. The plates were oven-hot and I could still hear the juices sizzling. It was grilled to perfection and expertly seasoned, no need to add anything to it! The skin was crispy, the fish was amazing, even my wife enjoyed it as she is not a big fan of fish. The seasoning, the fresh lemon juice and the freshness of the fish was absolutely fantastic. We had no room for dessert so we just enjoyed the rest of our rosè and watched the dining room get fuller. Signore Guglielmo and his wife Ana took personal care of everyone. He noticed that I got up to get a look at the fresh fish that he was displaying to a table and then decided to bring the various offerings to our table for us to look at before serving them to his other customers, it was so kind of him to interact with us to that level. He takes great pride in his cuisine and it is obvious how precise he is with his preparations. It was a high level show of great cuisine. We will be back as we are staying nearby for ten days.

What a surprise. We were recommended to go here and have dinner.It was their last open night before their yearly holiday and the place was full, we got the last table for 2.Arrived and seated we decided for a 3 course meal, he: tartar and her:filled red onionsand we both had fish for main course.Dessert I can' t remember but it was , as all the other dishes really good. We had coffee and the most wonderful petit fours was served with it and we ate it all.Forgot to write that after ordering our meal a big tray was presented with small starters on the house and a spritzer to go with it.We had a lovely meal and it was not a Osteria in the traditional Italian way, but a true gourmet restaurant we visited.If you have the opportunity to visit, do so it is out if this world.And no regrets.
