Went here for dinner while in Florence...recommended by concierge at St. Regis. The food was just ok....focus is on presentation not taste...they try to be artistic and original but food not the best. Worst part was waiting over an hour for our check. Apparently only one person working at the restaurant is permitted to accept payment. When that person finally gave us check he was rude and nasty! He made us feel like we were not important and he was! Stay away!

I have been having a few lunches and dinners with my family at La Piazza over the past seven months or so and I always find their food excellent and their service welcoming and attentive. The menu is presented with a good variety of dishes giving plenty of choices to everyone. Good choice of local and other Italian wines is available in their wine list. I would always go there when in the neighbourhood.

Per me sono tutti uguali Il pesce a tutto lo stesso gusto. Inoltre la cottura non è curata cuociono verdure pesce sulla stessa piastra va giusto bene per farsi una mangiata e spendere poco

I've been here a couple of times already and I can't stress enough, I love this restaurant! The location is superb. The menu is just perfect. The stuff is really caring and dedicated. I'm not gonna lie, I would love to get married Dal Capitano. Grazie !! saremmo davvero felici di esaudire il desiderio ....allora ci teniamo pronti !! .-)

Mi sono recato solo in questo posto per consumare un aperitivo. Pur gravitando allâesterno nessuno dei ragazzi mi ha chiesto se volessi sedermi. Entro allâinterno, chiedo al signore dietro al bancone se potevo sedermi nei posti davanti a lui. Mi risponde che dovevo accomodarmi. Mi seggo ad un tavolo nei pressi dellâingresso ma dopo 15 minuti, nonostante il viavai di camerieri che entrava ed usciva, nessuno mi ha consideraro minimamente. In silenzio mi sono alzato e sono andato al locale successivo.

A little out of town but well worth the visit. Great genuine Italian food. You know you are in for this when a basket of bread sticks arrives even before you order. Restaurant is no frills, simple rustic decor, but the food and wine are superb. Pizzas come from a charcoal fired pizza oven - the taste is uniquely Italian.Thank you!

We love their pizza (My husband comes from the South of Italy and he's very particular about his pizza, still he had to admit they make a very good one!). They are very nice and friendly. We got there very early because we needed to have dinner and head to the airport before 7.30 pm and they were very helpful. My 6 yo daughter got a bit scared by an advertisement that was shown on a little tv screen that wasn't even close to our table but someone from the staff overheard her comment and came immediately to change the channel to something more adequate to a young child. You rarely see that much sensitivity in a restaurant. Thank you!
