We stayed there on our way to the Amalfi coast and were treated to a great surprise!! Settle just outside the town, with a great view of the mountains and serene environment. You will sleep like a baby in comfortable and large room without the need to worry about a noisy road nearby. We were even greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine to our room. Easy parking and good breakfast. My only concern was the menu in the restaurant was a little limited. I highly recommend this resort as a destination or a an option close to the Amalfi coast. Only 20 min to Sorrento and another 45 to Amalfi.

The people don't speak english, but they're very friendly and try their absolute best to explain the dishes, ... The food was magnificent, the cook really did a great job making it. The prices were also reasonable for the portion and quality. We would definitly go back if this restaurant was in Belgium :)

The selection of seafood they have is fresh, the owner salvatore comes from cetara, which is the town of the TUNA fishmongers, he has knowledge about it.The place is not far off SALERNO CITY , this was my first time there and i was impressed. Well done !

i had seen the adverts on local tv and read the reviews on trip advisor so we decided to try this place on a Wednesday for lunch. The food was old school italian cooking, the service was a little slow but there were a few tables on a fixed menu that obviously needed to eat quickly and as we had time we did not mind. We had 2 bottles of water, two bottles of good house winewe were bought instantly a nice plate of complimentary tomatoe buschetta and a bread basked - even the bread was very tasty and the wine considering the price was a decent glass.we had one starter at 15 euros that was meant for two but we had enough for 3!chicken wings, parma ham, cured meats, mozzarella, eggplant parmigiana, baked mozzarella with porcini mushrooms.i had a beautiful plate of sauteed mussels as a first cours and my husband and son had a plate of hand made spaghetti with clams and wild mushrooms.My son and I had a grilled veal steak covered with rocket and parmesan cheese bought to us on a hot plate and my husband had pork scallops in white wine sauce with porcini mushrooms and melted mozzarella, a side of salad and a side of roasted peppers.we finished with 3 coffees and three liquors and tasted a little plate of chilli infused cheese.In the end we paid 79 euros which worked out at around 26 euros a head which was a fair price for what we ate and the taste again won over the legnth of service and the fact that the restaurant could do with a little care and attention but the courtesy was so nice - they offer pizza on a thursday, friday and saturday night - they are open every day at lunch but only open in the evening on the nights that they do pizza.It is a nice place to go if you want to eat good tasting food at a good price and have time to spare - no hidden charges, actually we got more than what we actually bargained for and we will return again as i like the casual atmosphere and of course the great tasting food.

This restaurant is located on the side of a hill near Montoro, a small town near Salerno. The small altitude and position allows a natural fresh environment during hot summers, the path to reach this restaurant requires a little skill in driving and the car is the only way to reach it. Because of the location, the parking lots available, in case of large events, are insufficient. They have neither a menu nor a wine chart, but the waiters describe the plates available at the moment, this could be a problem if you are not familiar with the italian language and if you wanna see prices before ordering. The food is good, the service is accurate and reasonably fast. We ordered a meal based on sea fish, starting with some tastings and a really tender octopus. The main course was based on two different kind of pasta, scialatielli and paccheri followed by a bream fish really fresh and well cooked. Finally the dessert was delicious and well served with an espresso caffe upon request. They have WiFi available to customers and accept credit cards, this proves some interest toward some particular needs of clients.

While in search of another restaurant, we got frustrated and decided to stop at the next restaurant we saw. Lucky for us, we found Ristorante Villa Gloria! The food was so good, the people were so friendly, the fellow guests were having a good time in the catering room. Over all, one of the most memorable meals of our trip.The seafood was incredible.

Small restaurant in a small neighborhood with super tasty food! We hade lunch and the staff suggested starters from the see, they were all super nice. After starters we hade pasta with Clams and pasta with Pesto, they were both good! Recommend this if you are close by, even worth a detour.
