The Chef is highly skilled.All products are fresh and local, nothing frozen.The food is just delicious, you can order blindly.You will be welcome by Nikiphoros and Grigorios in a unique, superior, unrivalled way : they make you feel at home.This family-owned tavern offers traditional, local cuisine in a very authentic way.In an island with a lot of pilgrims and a significant "religious tourism", you do have to care, you cannot go to just any place.Epineio, if they surprise you, will only do so in a postive way.καλή ÏÏεξη !

This restaurant has good, traditional Tinos food. We had nice vegetable dishes and some great grilled meat. In previous visits weâve had delicious fish. All very reasonably priced. We have just returned from the restaurant, recomended by our host. After very slow and completely disorganised service we were confronted with the worst food in 20 years we are making holidays in Greece, the meetballs undercooced, thw octopis burned and hard to chew,..at the end we were awarded with thw highest bill ever!!! Do not get fooled.

Overall the food experience was well below our expectation but in contrast the service was good and very welcoming.We had a salad to start and some local fresh fish to follow. When the green rocca salad arrived we were under the impression that it was prepared by a local builder who had to fill in for the cook. Although it featured rocket in first line of the description the plate was full of lollo lettuce and barley any rocket.A bit too lousy for my taste. For the main were recommended some locally sourced fish really fresh which we couldn't resist. And again another shortcut. Served pure and simple tavern style fish with lemon wedge and olive oil on the side. Very disappointing. To sum up the restaurant is crying out loud for a real chef to match up with the charming venue.

An unassuming tavern right on the roadside to Agios Fokas, with a great view to the sea, offers excellent local and traditional dishes. Service is excellent, prices are reasonable, portions are on the large side and ingredient quality is top notch. Visited twice in one weekend!

In this restaurant I had one of the best meals I've ever tasted in my life.The staff is truly heartwarming and the chef is amazing!The raw material of the dishes is A class since everything tasted so good and fresh! What is also amazing about this restaurant is the fact that while everything is top quality they maintain their prices very reasonable.We visited many times and each time we were very excited to eat there.Eating at Gi Ouranos Thalassa is definitely one of the reasons we are planning on visiting Tinos again.
