Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Samos, of which it is a municipal unit. It is located on the northwest side of the island. According to the 2011 census, the population of the municipal unit was 9,855 inhabitants. Its land area is 100.330 km². The municipal unit shares the island of Samos with the municipal units of Vathy, Pythagoreio, and Marathokampos.

We had an awesome experience having fresh homemade wine and several small plates, Tapas style.The food was amazing!.The setting is extremely simple plain as you would expect in a local taverna! Paradisos (Paradise) taverna is a cute small taverna situated on the beach road that crosses the small village of Agios Konstantinos.There are tables in both sides of the road so you can either sit by the sea, or under the beautiful, cool vineyard, which I personnaly recommend.Manolis, the owner is a really adorable cult figure that you will definately love! Very friendly and with a great sense of humor, if you feel like talking he will tell you many interesting stories.All the products used are produced in their farmlands, fresh and tasty.In total, you sense a relaxed and calm atmosphere. A very nice stopover in the middle of the road between Samos and Karlovasi

Awesome dining experience The food was typical Greek and the flavors were superb. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The prices were amazingly reasonable. I will come and have gone back several times. It is right in downtown so you canât miss it the place is a little on the small side and they have a few seats worth going through. I would highly recommend We would like to thank you, honestly very much for the time you dedicated to write those beautiful words for the Salt & Pepper Restaurant! When visiting Samos Island, your holiday memories must contain within them a visit to this restaurant. The restaurant is literally in the Aegean Sea resting on the rocks. It is as pleasurable to the eye as it is to the taste buds. Fresh seafood and fish are the specialties. Grilled mussels and traditional shrimp "saganaki" are a must. I don't recommend you order a main dish and a salad as you would in most restaurants. Here you'll want to try everything. The owners are sevice minded and professional always making sure that everyone leaves satisfied. Personally, I leave with a rested mind and a very full belly.

There are so many good restaurants in Samos, it's hard to go back to the same place twice, but we did here. Everything tasted home made and was very fresh.The customer service was very friendly too. A very delicate-picturesque restaurant just at the wave break. Great variety of traditional dishes with a modern touch. I was pleased to taste the fusion of the tradition and the need of something new. I definitely recommend it. Beautiful spot, especially for those who mind an enchanting sunset. Animal friendly. Very helpful staff. Fresh ingredients. Best thing in Karlovassi.

Been there during early June, i was amazed by the crystal blue water,the professional staff and the great delicacies on offer by the restaurant!!! I had one of the best salds (Potami Salad), the famous Kontosouvlaki (try it is amazing) and fried zucchini!!!I will definitely visit it again!!!

This restaurant offers great service. Friendly owners who together take care of the service. The food was also just fine, nothing special just a decent meal. For me personally a lot of cheese on the pizza, which made him feel a bit heavy, but that is very personal. The salad we had as an appetizer was delicious.All in all a reasonable restaurant for not too much money.

We were looking for a beach close to Karlovassi, and Potami Beach was a wonderful solution... About 25 minutes walk from Karlovassi, Hippy's was a great beach bar at Potami Beach. Visiting several beaches in Samos, I believe this is a must when in Samos. We had a great day at the beach, nice drinks and lunch. The place is very nicely decorated, makes you feel relaxed. The beach area, the restaurant area, bar and lounge areas, everything is very nice and clean. The music is not too loud, and also very nice.The beach is not sandy, but rather with pebble stones. We also walked up to Potami Waterfalls before going to Hippy's - which is a very short, 5 min. walk.
