We were here for Taco Tuesday and were waited on by Ruben himself. He's very friendly and helpful, and extremely accommodating. He wants to make everyone feel welcome at his restaurant.The tacos were great, as was the guacamole and queso fundido. My husband is still dreaming about the homemade red sauce! The margaritas were delicious also, and prices are very reasonable (read: inexpensive).The patio had a nice breeze and a good ocean view. It requires a golf cart (or other mode of transportation) if you're coming from the "downtown" part of the island, but it's well worth it. We are glad we came and will be back!

We visited here in July with our daughter. I loved the view and setting here. It was quiet and peaceful. We got to meet the owners while waiting for dinner. Their gorgeous little boy was crawling around and entertaining us. The food was amazing, but for some reason I only got pictures of our dessert. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're on the island. Thank you very much for your very friendly review!It was a great pleasure to meet you here!Please come and try our breakfast now! First time but definitely not the last time. The ambience, chef, staff and of course the food, all live up to their reputations and amazing reviews. Sergio is so personable and warm and our waiter Ramon was knowledge and attentive. A must visit for sure!!

What a hidden gem!! 3 beautiful pools, swim up bar, paddle boards, water trampoline, snorkeling and ice cold beer. Chris the manager checked on us several times and heâs thoroughly knowledgeable about the island which was also helpful. There was also a great group playing that got everyone involved. First the staff is the most friendly, funny and confident about their food! Me and my boyfriend got the most romantic dinner in Mexico and definitely they deserve 5 starts here, meat is amazing, might seem a bit pricey but it was absolutely worth it. We pass by the next day and our waitres remember us and made us come back for more! Sadly I don't remember his name but is the curly hair one! We love it :)

We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop atmosphere, the views, and the music. I ordered the filet which was prepared perfectly and had a delicious berry reduction drizzled on the plate that went very well with my steak. The lobster portion of my surf and turf was just okay. The triple chocolate cake was excellent.

We called ahead for reservations for a group of 10. They had the perfect setting upstairs under the stars and lights for our group. The staff was AWESOME!! There were a few picky food eaters (me included) but the waiters suggested the most perfect food that you could imagine. OH, the Jalapeno Strips are killer!! (So much, that we all surprised them again for those and Drinks.) All enjoyed and raved about the food that was ordered. I am not sure we have laughed so hard (Staff included!) After this experience, we worked with Marla and Javi to have Javi's team cook breakfast for us at our house. Again, not enough words to describe that experience! I will just leave it with Perfect!!!!

We loved this Restaurant. Great food and service... you may need a reservation. Our favorites were the spicy tuna wrapped in avocado and the calamari was the best I ever had. My husband and I had a perfect evening dining at Fuego de Mar!! It is a lovely, quaint restaurant with super friendly service and delicious meticulously prepared dishes! Itâs away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, which we found refreshing and relaxing! We had the lobster ravioli (filled with lobster) and the brisket which were both amazing and literally perfect in every way. Our waitress, Anna (so sorry if I am getting your name wrong) from Argentina was so lovely, friendly and fun! We will definitely be back every time we visit Isla Mujeres.
