At the 2010 census it had a population of 12,243. The town is a popular vacation spot, located near the Cape Cod National Seashore. Harwich's beaches are on the Nantucket Sound side of Cape Cod. Harwich has three active harbors. Saquatucket, Wychmere and Allen Harbors are all in Harwich Port. The town of Harwich includes the villages of Pleasant Lake, West Harwich, East Harwich, Harwich Port, Harwich Center, North Harwich and South Harwich. We were there for one of the Jazz Festival evenings. The cocktails, including the Daisy Chain were delicious! The small bites were a mixed bag. The falafel with salad was flavorful along with the manchego cheese. The crab fritters were not warm and the sauce didn't have much taste and texture wasn't great.The music by Suede was an amazing night, despite the rainy weather!Dear Kim BThank you for your review and for joining us at the Jazz Festival. We stopped here for a bite to eat after catching a sunset at May flower beach. We wanted to try something new. The food was good, the staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Seating is limited but, comfortable. Plenty of parking. We enjoyed this little local favorite and if your in the area you should definitely pop in for a bite!

Ocean House is a beautiful setting, right on Nantucket Sound. Food and service are excellent. I had the tuna taco and a swordfish special. My husband had a salad and the cape cod chip encrusted cod. A couple of glasses of wine. We were here to celebrate my birthday and it was on the reservation. It would have been nice to have a complimentary dessert or just something special to acknowledge the event.

Recommended to us for a weekend visit, The Mad Minnow is tucked in the back of a small cluster of storefronts. My party entered through the back of the restaurant, which has spacious outdoor seating and a fire pit. The inside of the restaurant has a dim, somewhat mature and romantic ambience, but there was a spectrum of party types and attire choices. We were immediately seated by a very kind and attentive hostess and waitress. For an appetizer, I decided on the clam chowder. It was extremely rich and creamy and was smart to share for this reason - excellent choice, donât pass it up. For an entree, I ordered the hot lobster roll (cooked with butter), as opposed to the cold lobster roll (cooked with mayonnaise). The lobster rolls come with orzo salad (in oil), french fries (to die for if you have a salty tooth!) coleslaw and a pickle. If youâre on a diet like I am, have no fear, both the hot and the cold (my mom got), are EXTREMELY light on the butter / oil. Overall wonderful experience, would highly recommend this place to family and friends!!

We went to Brax for lunch after church on Sunday, and we were fortunate to get a table, as it gets very busy with the after-church crowd.Members of our party had salads, clam chowder, fried seafood platter, seafood casserole, and the oyster appetizer. Everything was delicious, the service was good, and the view of the marina was lovely.

Our children back home had contacted the restaurant to arrange a few surprises for our sixty-fifth anniversary, and the consistently friendly and efficient staff outdid themselves to make the evening special. The wine was fine, the flowers that graced the table were dazzling, and they gave us a couple of small gifts, including two macarons that reminded of of our days in Paris. It was our last dinner in Cape Cod and it was a great evening with our teen. We had the seared striped bass, two ways chicken, fresh oysters, and duck confit and spinach salad. The food was cooked just right and the sauce for the fish was very flavorful. Our son really liked the sour apple in the duck salad. Our host Antonella was great!

Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do.
