We spent the morning on the beach in front of the restaurant. Great swimming in the Pacific but a strong undertow so watch your little ones. Then we went to the restaurant for delicious garlicky prawns! Fresh water showers and change rooms provided. A super day at this non commercial beach.

We accidentally stopped in Santa Clara looking for something else and decided to explore. We got off the beaten path and discovered Delicias. We decided to stop and were happy we did. We had a very nice lunch and then walked the beach for awhile. It was very pleasant.My wife had the fried red snapper and loved it, along with a very large glass of fresh pineapple juice. I had the chicken de la plancha with friend yuca and a different large juice and everything was very good. The waiter was very nice and hooked my phone to wifi very quickly. Sometimes things just happen and they turn out very well. This was one of those times. Highly recommend Delicias del Mar.

Stopped by for lunch at this restaurant. The mixed grilled seafood dish was absolutely delicious. Very tranquil atmosphere, friendly staff (family owned).

The restaurant has inside and outside dining. The food is wonderful. Chef Rolando has 18 years of experience at restaurants in Barcelona, Spain and for the last 10+ years has been running restaurants in the area. I have eaten a wide variety of food that he has prepared. Spanish tapas, pasta, wonderful seafood dishes, fried green tomatoes and tonight Sushi! The restaurant also has a nice selection of wines and drinks and there is live music on some nights. It's well worth the visit.

We expected to make a dinner reservation at our hotel. Luckily they where booked. Everything we had was fantastic. The waiter (Jorge) explained every item we asked about in detail. The ceviche frito was amazing, the sea bass, langostinos, and mashed potatoes where perfect. The owner came and introduced herself and gave us a complimentary after dinner drink. Vodka honey liquor! Delicious. I highly recommend this place. It is at the top of our restaurant list for this trip.

We are visiting CoconutBlue on a regular basis and are happily enjoying the place. Today we've been there with good friends and were lucky to have Oysters, harvested in front of the place. These were not the small and slurping variety but bigger and firm to chew, with an outstanding taste. Next course was grouper, prepared by Chef Rolando himself and super delicious.The CoconutBlue is by far the best place to enjoy seafood.

I'm quite sure this place would have earned a very good if we had ordered anything other than the $30 lobster. It arrived with haughty grandeur on a wood platter that seemed the size of of a manhole cover. Five pieces, cut vertically through from 2.5 rock lobster, and arranged around half the plate in a semi-spiral with the feelers cantilevered out over the edge, accompanied by a large pile of excellent french fries and an iceberg & tomato salad. Unfortunately the lobster was dry, overcooked, and boring. The one person in our group who ordered fish (snapper or sea bass) was very happy. Prices were a bit steep, seemed like; about what one would pay in Seattle, generallyCold Balboa in a chilled glass was a reasonable $1.50. The server was charming, competent, and accommodating. The setting in the shade of the palms with a nice breeze coming off the water 40 meters away was about perfect. We'd return to give it another try if we were staying longer, for sure, but wouldn't order the lobster.Bob Sorry for the lobster, really the last lot is very strong and I think cooking a lot .

We ordered and carried out food for our Super Bowl party. The pizza and fish were delicious and hot. The food was carefully prepared. The restaurant looked very clean and inviting.

The beachbar is at a nice location and offers good fresh juices. The sunbeds and umbrellas for 20 USD are way too expensive though (you pay it even if you are a guest in the restaurant). The people working there are friendly but not too enthusiastic.

Went for supper at this restaurant just off the resort (walking distance) and we really enjoyed our food. Service a bit slow but food was great and prices were good too. Worth the visit. You can make reservations, suggested.
