Went for our evening meal slightly early than normal and managed to get the last table for 4 inside ....only 4 tables inside and about 8 outside... always full when you pass... food cooked on an open grill outside then passed back through to the restaurant.... didnât have starters but opted for whole red snapper and whole golden bream,pork dish and a burger... the fish was fantastic weighed in front of you then grilled whole outside ... excellent value for money .... have been to many fish restaurants in the Algarve where then would be happy to charge you 4 times as much for the same fish....try to book to avoid disappointment

Thereâs a lot of good to be said about this place. The food was very tasty and well priced compared to a lot of places in Carvoeiro. Staff were overall very friendly too. My only criticisms were the attempts at boat trip sales by one of the waiters. I also donât agree with bread and olives being presented to you and then being expected to pay for them at the end without having asked for them. On this basis Iâm not sure Iâd return.

We enjoyed a really nice meal here with great food and wine at a reasonable price. However, apart from a woman eating on her own we were the only people eating on a Saturday night which was disappointing and must be a concern for them, even though it was in January. The waitress was very good fun and friendly without being over familiar and overall the dining experience was very good.

We had a very nice meal here and the food and service could not be faulted. An extensive menu with plenty for most tastes and the waiting staff were helpful and friendly.The only downside was that tables are packed together quite closely making it noisy (despite being outside) and we did feel a little hemmed in by other people.Overall a lovely meal and we would probably visit again next time we are in the area.

The food at Casa Algarvia is very poor by most standards. It's bland and oily, you'd get better food at Sizzler. However, the general standard of food in Cavoeiro seems low, so Casa Algarvia might consider it's food to be acceptable.The staff were okay, but overall, you should avoid eating here if you want decent food.

We visited last night, 3 couples on a pre booked table. The restaurantâs position / location in the resort is without doubt a major benefit. The menu was OK perhaps a little expensive relative to others in the vicinity but then thereâs a magnificent view of the bay. The food presentation OK and on-balance the food wasnât bad, the downside was with 2 ladies of the party being taken ill afterwards which rather spoilt the evening and early hours of the following day!

Jota Lita is an excellent choice for fish and meat lovers. We have tasted delicious grilled seabass, grilled sardines, garlic shrimp and yummy fish soup. everythng comes with delicious veggies and potatoes. Owner greets you personally and makes you feel you are eating at his home. Service is impecable, fast, eficient and food arrives qickly.Parking could be a concern, may require a few circles around to find a spot, but oce you do, its free and after dinner one may choose to stroll through some shops and venture to a small boardwalk. lovely place, don't miss it!

Beautiful setting, perfect service and fabulous fish.The turbot was superb and the tuna sublime.The only disappointment was that they were not open on Sunday for us to have a second visit.
