Not cheap but ok food. Some oysters with a bit too much liquid in the shells, a burrata with Serrano ham to share (was no problem), as starters. Followed by a half lobster oven-baked with fennel and a little spinach and the other half with mildly spaced tomato-sauce and slightly overlooked linguine, and two "lady" steaks probably quite a bit bigger than the listed 160gr. Not bad but not worthy of an ecstatic review either.Come here for the covered year round terrace.

Rustig gelegen, hedendaagse inrichting, een ronde tafel voor 8 personen.Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, klantgericht en dit alles in een gemoedelijke sfeer.Apero van het huis; cava rosé, vergezeld van een drietal amuses. Prima opener !Een uitstekende witte puglia wijn (Verdicchio) bij het visvoorgerecht.Keuze van het hoofdgerecht uit parelhoen (met een rode wijn: Corbières) of koolvis.Verfijnd, wel met dezelfde groente garnering, normale porties. Zeer gesmaakt.Ons gezelschap koos voor dame blanche en vooral voor het appel-kaneel-(karig)caramel dessert. Perfecte timing van de opvolging van de gerechten. De chef bracht ook een gerecht en maakte even tijd voor een kort gesprek.Een geslaagde avond. Voor ons een verborgen pareltje met een mooie prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.Verhuis van de zaak naar Hoeselt gepland in mei 2020. Aanrader !

I was brought here by friends who regularly attend this restaurant and i can sew why !! It was in the most beautiful setting . We sat outside beside the most beautiful sculpture. The decor both inside and out was picturesque. The food and cocktails as i pictured was full of flavour and so reasonably priced. My friends indulged (apparently the best in belgium). I will be back in belgium in october and will most certainly be returning to this restaurant xx

The only difference to the nearby "Lunch Garden" self-service restaurant is (1) the table service by very friendly staff, (2) the interior decoration and (3) the bill (which is about 3x higher), for the same food on your plate.The spare ribs where from 'den Aldi', steaks were grilled too long (they mixed up our order) and coffee is served without sugar or anything (which they apparently forgot).We will certainly never ever return.Overpriced. Underdelivered.Too bad.

Seriously the best steak I've had in such a long time. Entrecote. Really do recommend stopping by here, ambiance was great, service very good. Price is a bit more top end but matched the overall service and quality from the evenings spent there. Very happy to pay a bit more for a lot more if that makes sense, also a great selection of tasty red and white wines. Must go back. Had an exceptional x-mas party with the social club, 50 persons present. The four course menu with accompanying wines were outstanding. The culinary and service level the owners accomplished would put many star restaurants to shame. A definite must if you are a foodie. Enjoy.

This is a wonderfull place to have a culinary travel around the world. The servant tells and sells you wines as if she has cultivated them herself. The food is prepared by a humble chef with a great heart for his profession. A discovery as we seldomly find them. Highly recommended.

We visited Anne-Sophie & her team often in De Kwizien and we were very pleased to experience them doing their own project. And a very nice experience it was! Good symbiosis of kitchen and service. We had the 8-course menu and to be honest, we were sorry not to have taken the 12 courses... because we would have loved to be pleased 4 times more! The kitchen really did a great effort creating all these nice dishes. And theyâve only been open little more than half a year! Curious to see where this could lead them. Also a thumbs up for the maître de service and sommelier Daan who really kept a good overall view and who was perfectly into pace with the kitchen. Served, in his own style, his wines with good knowledge and flair. Canât wait to be back in Hasselt for a second visit!Keep up the good work!!
