Ok, it was a jazz festival or something going on, and a lot of guests, but the service was poor and very very slow.1 hour to get a cold plate, after 2 times complaining.On the positive side, the food was well presented, fresh, crispy and tasteful.I noticed an other couple who had the lobster (at DKK 150!) and they said it was very good. Will try it next time around.If it hadn't been for the lousy service, I would have given 4 points.

We usually go to Lønstrup once or twice during summertime just to enjoy the life in the idyllic summer resort and not least to enjoy the view over the sea.Normally the small town will be crowded with visitors,however this time there were only very few people around - possibly because of the weather had been very bad recently. This day the weather was good and we decided to try a new place for our lunch.We chose "Restaurant Lido" and have not regretted the choice.The restaurant has an outdoor balcony with a good view to the main street for serving lunch and/or dinner.From the menu we both chose "Three plaice fillets with shrimps and smoked salmon and garnered with small new potatoes, white asparagus and safran sauce". The servings were plenty and delicately presented. The fillets were definetly from fresh fish, large and well fried on the pan. Altogether very good. For beverages we both chose local beer.The waitress was efficient and friendly.Altogether a good experience and we shall only be happy to come back and can thus give this restaurant our full recommendations.Mona & Jens

This is one of the highlights you can't miss when visiting Nordjyland. Breathtaking view to the stormy North Sea, and probably the best Fish Burger I've ever had in my whole life. Afterwards go for a walk by the Beach. It'll help you digest. I'll be back!

My friends recommended this restaurant as they had visited before. It was easy to see why, extremely friendly service with an excellent choice of menu.I thoroughly enjoyed a fish platter served with salad.This Cafe Slugten was very busy and interesting that other cafes/bars closeby didn't appear to have many customers so Slugten is doing something right. I hope to return to Lonstrup at some stage and would certainly go back to this cafe.

Food abundantly and og a high quality. The menu is fairly narrow, but the quality of what they have fully makes up for that. I love those semi-open kitchens, as they have here, where you can small you food being preparred - and stirring up a good appertite. The place is clean, and the waitresses are very helpful and smiling and sets a good atmosphere!

The restaurant is on the first floor with a nice view over the North Sea. Friendly service and English menu. We chose the Shellfish Tapas which is a nice presentation including mussels, fried calamari, crab legs, croissants with shellfish salad, blinis with salmon caviar, tomato-mozzarella and prawns.On the menu, you will find hamburger, steak, salmon and spare ribs.I highly recommend the Shellfish Tapas: fresh from the sea and high quality!

A young team offers innovative meals. There is one menu and you can choose 3, 5 or 7 courses. There are also single courses available. We chose the 5 course menu which was delicious. Friendly, very attentive service. For slow food lovers who value high quality ingredients and ambitious cooks, this is the right place.

Had only a weekday lunch in Bryghuset Vendia this summer so this revew is based on their lunch menu, not the dinner menu.First: Bryghuset Vendia is a very elegant establishment, modern in steel, glass, concrete - black and white. Staff was very fortcoming and polite, and they made us feel welcome.The beer were all brewed on-site, and the brewery could be seen through glass walls in the corner of the restaurant. Pretty cool!We were happy with the beers we tasted, however not so happy with the selection of beer... Most of the beers were german styled lager beers. Light and dark variants, only accompanied by a brown ale and a wheat beer. This is a very limited selection for a brewhouse in my opinion.Lunchdishes were all very delicious and tasty.

Itâs difficult to fault anything here - though it was chilly outside !Fantastic setting, hovering over the North Sea - I can imagine its fantastic in the summer !The food was superb. Each course was presented and described, accompanied by some wonderful wines.The service was excellent with obvious product knowledge and a smattering of humour!If ever Iâm lucky enough to be back in this part of the world, Iâll be booking here early !!

This is a homemade Fish Heaven...easy fast fish food with the Danish tradition in all levels. If you are in Hirtshals thus is a must for good meal in funny an authentic surroundings. Not high level, but high quality for authentic lovers.
