We came by here mainly to check out the sweets made by the nuns, and were amazed by the wonderful tour we were given. It is a remarkable place, filled with history and peace. The architecture is beautiful. The sweets were very good, too.

Catedral de Zamora

As many people have remarked in reviews, the tapestries are what makes an interesting cathedral a must-see. They are truly breathtaking, and are well worth a detour to see. Some down in the main cathedral, but the bulk of them are upstairs in their own museum part. We nearly missed this, and it would have been a real shame.
