I was at Marle Bua last week, and I was positively surprised when I enetered and heard the sound of live piano music! But this is just the beginning, as looking around I noticed how nice the style and the interior design were.Then it was time to choose what to taste, and I apprecidated the wide choice offered. The food was delicious, not only for the way it was prepared, but also the presentation of dishes was very accurate. The service was excellent, a perfect balance between welcoming guests and being reserved at the same time.I was there on business trip, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant was perfect for a romantic dinner :-)I would definitely suggest this restaurant to everybody visiting Tomsk.Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it and will be happy to see you again in our restaurant!

I was invited here by a friend of mine. She had some time on her hands so she went wandering in the centre and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant.As a matter of fact, I would have passed this place a million times before but never really properly noticed it. It hasn't got the huge colourful sign or fancy exterior. It's beauty is quiet and subdued.The person who invented the concept is genius. There are several rooms within, the interior is one of a library, hence the name. There are proper books everywhere, the ones you can read, not the models that were printed off yesterday for the sake of calling the restaurant The Library. Comfy armchairs are beckoning you to sit down and flick through this or that literature masterpieces.The food is lovely, albeit not the cheapest around, but this place is not designed as a cheap eatery in the first place.The location could not be more central but is still nice and quiet, you can get anywhere very easily from here.The nice touch of giving us our bill inside a book completed the experience for me.

Lovely small cafe - cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, average prices. The cafe is a little too small.Menu is not very large, but there is a good selection of tea, coffee and desserts. There are also salads, snacks, main dishes and alcohol.A nice detail - there is a copybook for reviews and opinions on every table.

Thoroughly enjoyed the sturgeon soup and octopus appetizer. The caviar with quail egg was absolutely amazing. The service was prompt and the decor was unique for sure. Very reasonable prices and an overall great experience. Would happily return.

Cosy cafe especially if you want to have coffee and dessert. There is a good choice of coffee and tea, ice-cream, waffles, pancakes, etc. There are also some salads, soups and main courses, but these are rather pricey. Be ready to spend 700-800 roubles if you want to have a proper meal.The staff is friendly and helpful. The interior design is nice.There is no special offers for lunch, as in many other cafes, but there is a breakfast menu.

The guide book labels this as a pricy but first cabin restaurant. They are right on both counts. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the prices are a bit elevated. The only poblem I had is that the tables have a cross supporting bar between the legs that really constrains both how close you can sit to the table and where you can put your legs. It was not comfortable, but I survived and it did not significantly detract from the fine food. We did not order a starter so they provided a complementary small dish of salsa-like dip and some baked bread bits. We did order soups, a tomato soup with big tomato bits in it (R259) and a very good borscht (R258), with a large chunk of beef in it. We got a nice heavy bread roll to soak up the last bits of soup (R15). I got a grilled pork hunk (R530) and a potato, cuke and tomato side (they call it a garnish but it is the separate veggies that you donât pay for most places but always seem to do at fancy restaurants) (R94). We both got a tea which was served at the end of the meal with about 200 ml of honey. Putting all that honey in the tea made it a nice desert drink. All in all, an excellent place and an excellent dinner.

Lovely underground interior, a movie on jazz history was being shown at the time of our visit. We liked each meal we've ordered, the price was okay, overall a pleasant and positive experience. My only complaint would be that the waiters could have been more attentive.

I have a business lunch at this restaurant.
