The Squirrel Route is the first biologically studied Finnish aquatic nature trail marked with information boards. Along the route there are 21 checkpoints describing the natural area. Checkpoints are reachable from the canoe. On the route there are a wide variety of lakes, rivers and rapids as well as groves and forests.The route is suitable to family outings. Total lenght of the route is 57 km.
