There was a large variety of Pancakes and the staff was quite friendly, but didn't seem very motivated. The cost for what you received was quite high in our view, but the taste was very good.
The view onto the river was very nice. Sufficient parking place.

This is for tourists who like chinese food. I live near this restaurant and often I order food with this chinese restaurant. The Quality of the food is very good and the price is normal. It is only a little bit far away from the Zaanse Schans.

I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants, but this has been my favourite place for years. I have a severe allergy for crustaceans. I never go anywhere without 2 epi-pens and an allergy card. However, the moment I show my face, the owner recognizes me and tells me that he knows of my shrimp allergy.
The food is good and plentiful. The service is swift and friendly. It is a place which I have come for years and am happy to come back to again and again.
It is advisable to make a reservation as the restaurant is usually very busy

This used to be our kids favourite pizza place for many years. Now the kids are all grown up and we thought we would try it out of nostalgia. What a disappointment. It needs a big overhaul. The decor is sad and tired. The service is poor and very very slow and the food was below average - and it was only a pizza.

We went here almost everyday of our trip as their food was much nicer and half the price of our hotels.
The staff were all very nice and accommodating and the portions are large. I'd recommend the Irish coffee, I'm going to miss it at home.

We had booked this restaurant by email before we arrived in Zaandam purely on the recommendations of others. They emailed me back immediately. The restaurant itself is not in the prettiest part of Zaandam but that didn't worry us. We were greeted and seated quickly where Olives, Breads & Aioli/olive oil were placed as a welcome nibble! The menu's were handed to us after that & drinks were ordered. A glass of prosecco and a Dutch beer! Osgur who is the manager/owner were very attentive and lovely to deal with. We ordered the special meat dish between 2 people with accompaniments. The meat was Gorgeous! Topped off with G & Ts after dinner! Osgur then talked to us about Ireland and how he loves to do walks there....pictures are on the wall of the Wicklow Way that he did! He treated us to a nightcap and we had a chat about the area. Lovely food, lovely place, lovely staff! The area is not so pretty around it but you can get over that....Food is delish & Osgur & staff are very attentive. We'll return!

On holiday from the UK and tried Marcello's. Very friendly atmosphere with relaxing surroundings. The staff were very attentive and the menu extensive. A crab starter converted me to crab. Filled pasta dishes had excellent flavours and the sea bass was absolutely outstanding. All the sauces were light unlike the heavy creamy ones in the UK. The wines recommended by Liliane - Marcello's wife - went perfectly with the dishes.
Being part of a weekly luncheon club in the UK, I would rate this an A-list restaurant and be making frequent return visits.
Highly recommended.

This is most probably the nicest restaurant in Krommenie. They offer great food at a fair price, good wines and a very nice atmosphere. Lunch, dinner, drinks, all is possible. Just the two, with your family, colleagues or friends, you will feel welcome and have a good time at Grand Cafe Atlantic!

Situated near lake Uitgeest, Schippersrijk is a nice restaurant decorated with boat and naval attributes. The bigger part of the restaurant has glass walls, what gives you a nice view on the lake and nearby marina. The staff is friendly and the food spot on. If the weather is fine, outside Seating is lovely though sometimes a little windy.
