This place has a varied menu and interesting specials the day we visited for lunch. They were packed and we had a small wait but the food was well worth the wait. Great place to meet friends or just kick back with a up of joe and read the paper. A quiet atmosphere with comfortable seating in an old house.
Good muffins and scones too.
We stop for coffee after yoga class or when in need of a pick me up while shopping.
They also have a nice selection of unusual wines and unique gifts.

The food here is what I would say is Americanized Mexican food. To be great, it would have to be beyond the typical variations of tortillas and cheese. Real Mexican food is so much more inventive. But it's decent and there is a whole lot of it. The Special Dinner is a sampler of one each of at least 5 items and is way more than anyone should eat in one sitting. Lots to take home for the next day. Prices are very reasonable and drinks are good.

This is a fairly small place with tables and a counter. I was there for lunch. Lots of menu choices and specials. The servings were large and the food was good. Staff and service were very good and prices were reasonable. It's a little noisy when busy so people with hearing problems might find that an issue.

Was one of the few places open on a Sunday night so decided to give it a go. Had a small but decent beer selection and their old fashions are good. Would help if they had the beers listed on a menu or board. Food was good but not awesome thus the reason for 4 stars. Fish sandwich was fine but maybe a little overbreaded. Same goes for the cheese curds. Other guys had the crab cake sandwich and burger which they said were good. Service was excellent. Great view of the water.

We learned of Great Expectations through their connection with Farmshed always will seek out places that source locally. We received a friendly welcome, were impressed with the variety of items on its lunch-only menu, and our food was tasty, though much heavier and richer than I like. It seemed that most of the sandwiches had melted cheese, and most of the entrees included rich sauces. The cranberry bread pudding, for me, was almost too sweet to eat. Everything is well-prepared, but this is just not how I like to eat, especially at lunchtime.

This is a great place for a Friday Fish Fry, the best pizza in Rapids, a cold beer or good mixed drink or one of their speciality sandwiches.
You will always find the friendliest servers and bartenders and plenty of televisions to watch your favorite game in an exceptionally clean facility.
During the Packer season - this is the place to be Wisconsin Rapids. If you want to get a Friday Fish Fry better get there early or make a reservation because they are good and they are busy!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and terrific sandwiches and drinks. My wife and I enjoy stopping in every few weeks, if we don't feel like making dinner. We enjoy trying different sandwiches from the menu, and haven't been disappointed ever! Half a mile or so from the beautiful Ridges golf course as well, for the golfing enthusiasts.

This is a family type restaurant. Not gourmet but there are lots of options. I found the food to be good, nothing special. Portions are large, service was pleasant. A good place for breakfast and lunch.

We had dinner here last night with friends. The bar was nice and service there was very good considering how busy they were! We waited a while to be seated but they were kind enough to come around and take our order early! We were seated with only about a 40 minute wait during a very busy time.
The food was wonderful and well prepared. The service was prompt and friendly.
We will absolutely be back! A lovely and classic Wisconsin Supper Club experience!!!!
