Over the years I have watched the quality of the food go down. Don't bother visiting it is a waste of money.Sorry to hear you are not a fan, Glenda. We have been using the same recipes and ingredients since the beginning of Dell Rheas but I will be sure to share this with our kitchen staff so we can look for ways to improve.

A group of five us went to Cooper's Hawk Winery to celebrate a birthday last Saturday night. It was pretty average experience. First, they put us at an expanded 4 top and the back of my chair was about 2 feet from the booth behind me. I was bumped and nudged by the wait staff throughout the meal. At a place this big, they should have a better spot for a party of five with a reservation. Not a good start.
The food was okay. I enjoyed the pot sticker, meatball, and brussel sprout appetizers that the group shared, but the skirt steak that I had for a main was not memorable. However, the experience really suffered from the timing of the meal. It was the entire time. First, we had a difficult time getting our waiter to take a cocktail order. Second, we didn't have table settings until the appetizers arrived, when we flagged down another server to get them. Next, the first bottle of wine was gone in the initial pour around the table. We weren't asked if we wanted another, and when we were finally able to request it, the bottle arrived just prior to dessert. Finally, all of the desserts came out at the same except one. It arrived once everyone else had finished. A weak excuse was offered, but no mention of taking it off the bill.
In the end, the food was okay, but the experience was disorganized and disjointed. Can't say that we'll be rushing back anytime soon.

BHPH was a restaurant that was busy, quaint, and efficient. The food was descent; however, it was not seasoned very highly. The food liked some flavor, because of light seasoning; otherwise, all was well. Service was good, waitress was friendly, and efficient.

One of my favorite things to do in Burr Ridge is to visit (and eat at) Kirsten's Bakery. Everything is so delicious looking!!! We love their baked goods as well as their lunches. There is no other bakery like this one in the western suburbs.

This is a great little coffee house. Owners are very nice, the coffee is delicious and cheaper than Starbucks. Outdoor benches to sit on and enjoy the sun with your dog. You won't be disappointed!

Actually hit a Portillo's when it wasn't packed, but food was still hot and fresh. Other than the fact that they omitted my grilled chicken sandwich from the order, everything was very good. The French fries were excellent and so was the chocolate shake. Sandwich was good when I got it. This is the place that my son has to visit repeatedly when he is in town, for a hot dog, a beef sandwich, and fries.

This is a little annex to the Capri restaurant that had a daily $5.00 special, and great Italian sandwiches. I usually go there for either a beef, sausage or combo sandwich for lunch. A great place to get together for lunch with friends in a casual environment. Overwhelming selection of beers and a broad tasty menu. I highly recommend the crawfish Etouffee. I added grilled shrimp to mine. We started the meal with a BBQ nacho platter which was more than enough for our party of 4. We had a great waiter who guided us through the beer menu with samplers when asked. Service was very good during our extended get together. The restaurant and bar areas are large and could test the service of the wait staff when crowded. Only speculating. We will return. So many beers to try, so many food choices to try and we didn't even get to the dessert menu yet. Too full.

A group of 12 gathered for an informal networking event/social time. Sat in the bar area, around tables reserved for us. Great service. Good and reasonably priced bar food. Had prime rib sliders and a burger. One person had a date dish (excellent) and another had salmon. Good wine. Free parking. Very accommodating staff.

We met a friend who works nearby. He has never eaten here and we searched to find a place since we aren't from the area. The food was delicious, served piping hot, and the service was excellent. Our friend said he will return often, finding this a gem.
