This rating is because I've had two different experiences the times I've gone. The first time, the service was not good not was the food. The second time we had a great server and the food was excellent. The dish I had was so good that I will be going back and then will be able to give a more accurate score. The atmosphere is very romantic and a nice environment with dim lights and not too crowded of seating. Parking can be a challenge, though.

We went to get some ice cream for the kids. We were treated by the cashier leaning on her hands on the register resting her head. She took our order and was less than enthusiastic about our being there. The cooks in the back weren't talking to the staff in the front leaving the food in the warmer area without it going to the customers. The person running the drive through seamed to be the person running things as she kind of did things but didn't get the orders out. Then the ice cream ran out leaving us waiting for a while to get the whole order. The whole time the cashier looked like she was trying not to fall a sleep as she took multiple orders. Would recommend them getting a person to help them run the store or it will go under soon.

New restaurant in strip mall Hwy 231 N on left side of road before you get to Key West Inn. Delicious meat/three. GREAT homecooked food, made from scratch desserts, seasoned collards, great chicken and dumplings, MMMMMM-good chicken-fried steak. Love this after church on Sunday and my husband slips off during the week for lunch. This is really good stuff. Country Cookin Done Right! Homemade Desserts!

When my wife and I are out and about, looking for comfort food, this is the place. It's a small family owned and run place serving meat and two or three. Each day, they have a different meat selection. This is probably why you don't have to wait long for the food to come. It's not fancy, but the service is good and the food is really good... and hot.

As a first timer to this casino, they gave each of us $20 in food credits for the buffet. Lots of choices ranging from the seafood options, meats, salads, and desserts. All were great tasting. Staff was friendly and eager to assist when needed.

There were so many combinations on the menu it was difficult to choose. Some sounded strange, but I was assured that they were some of the most popular. I will definitely be back if I am in the area.

I ate here with family on their recommendation. I had the meat & 2 sides(pulled pork, potato salad & baked beans) and it was absolutely fantastic! So much food and so very good. My girlfriend had the ribs and they were gigantic! The restaurant is no frills, just like the great BBQ places should be...and the service was wonderful and quick. I certainly plan on going back to Champs next time I visit my family.

We've eaten here before and loved it!! So this time I wanted to go back. What a mistake. One that I will not make again. We had a party of 4. My husband ordered a bison ribeye. It was so tough, he told them he couldn't eat it. They offered him something else but he didn't want anything else. My dad ordered the ribeye. There was so much fat he didn't want it. My mom and I ordered the stuff lobster and it was yuck. I got sick a couple of hours later. Throwing up lobster. For the prices in the place you expect the best and that is what we've gotten before. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO THERE. BE WARNED. They took one steak off our check but our total bill was still over $200. NO thank you!!

I have been to this restaurant so many times. I have never had a good meal or service. I’ve been at this restaurant at least 10 times. Every time someone suggests we meet there I cringe. I kept trying different dishes, hoping I would find one I like. I never did find one. It is a local favorite but I can’t figure out why. I have given up. Even the water is bad.
